  1. Do you get a new chip body built each time or transfer the body to the new truck?
  2. Did you have to unload a few times today then?😄
  3. The telescopic boom is an option on the 420 not standard fitting. If you're buy ng second hand check it has one.
  4. My td5 did this after the ecu was tweaked. Two studs snapped off. Had the manifold machined flat and bought stronger studs and nuts off ebay. Quite common on td5 especially if the ecu is tweaked as it makes it run a bit hotter.
  5. They've been great Al. You have to watch how the wire for the earpiece goes into the earmuff as it is quite thin and breaks easily. They are constantly on, but you can press the mute button if you want some peace and quiet, or turn the volume right down! I would buy some more if I needed to.
  6. Hi Al Have a look at the thread "Who does radio headsets." Last page has photos of sena on Protos helmet. I think you need done mic extension or something. Cheers Al
  7. Hi Rhys Was it someone local who took the wood and did they collect it? Hope you're keeping well mate? Cheers Al

  14. Felling this Oak on Friday. Trunk is around 2-2.5 ft in diameter and 30ft to branches. Any good to anyone? I can arrange transport at a cost if need be.
  15. That's my understanding as well. Also only if you are felling trees within the footprint of a new build or extension. Outside of that it falls into landscaping. The few times a builder has tried keeping the tax from me I explain they can't and why and then they pay up.
  16. Hope my bum doesn't look THAT big when I've got my chainsaw trousers on.😂😂😂😂
  17. Time sert is another spark plug thread repair. I've used them on my Triumph Stag.
  18. As I understand it, if you are only trimming the hedge then no notification is needed. If you are doing a height reduction of a few feet or more, or felling it, then notification should be made.
  19. Thanks Tony👍 I did read most of the thread, must have missed that bit. Cheers Al
  20. If you've got something to say Mick, just say it, don't beat around the bush!
  21. I have a client who lives by a communal garden in Dulwich and 4 years ago he asked me to look at a beech tree with fungi growing around the base. It was meripulus and the tree was removed by another company. He has emailed some photos today showing the merip fruiting bodies appearing, not sure if the stump was removed or not, but how long can merit live off the roots? he is concerned the newly planted tree could be under threat (not sure what species at the moment). Coukld this be the case? Cheers...Al
