  3. I pay around £1500 for annual Ltd accounts My step mum does monthly books and vat for me, but I am on flat rate vat scheme do quite simple now.

  5. If they keep doing it they maybe right one year!😂
  6. Didn't they say this last year as well?😏😏 SHOCK WEATHER WARNING: Britain faces coldest winter in 50 YEARS and MONTHS of heavy snow | Nature | News | Daily Express
  7. Next trip away via an airport could be interesting....
  8. Hi Paul Sorry to hear about your bad year - life sucks sometimes - but good times can be around the corner. I don't have a copy of 5837 yet. I'll pm you snout meeting up for a beer. Cheers...Al
  9. Hi Paul How's things? Hopefully with my experience and one of these courses and some reading will help out. Can't hurt to do the course anyway. Cheers..Al
  10. I checked the AA website but couldn't see any BS5837 courses. There is a subsidence one coming up in Wokingham which is not far from me.
  11. Yes, I saw that course and was thinking about it. I've been in the industry for 30 years so have a bit of experience and knowledge now. Still learning though.
  12. Many moons ago I did the btech national diploma in Arboriculture at Merrist Wood. A couple of years ago I passed the professional tree inspection course. Is a higher professional qualification required to be able to carry out surveys for BS5837 and tree impact statements? Cheers...Al
  13. I just added up how many within 6 miles and it was 64 different companies! Wish I hadn't find that now😢
  14. Same here in North Surrey. There's now 6-7 small companies within about 1.5 miles of me.
  15. Cool. £1/2 mill should cover it, I'll pm my bank details so you can do the transfer. When do I start?
  16. I'm thinking of relocating to Horley area as too much competition around here these days. Fed up of working for peanuts....
  17. I've had a ratchet from the professional range replaced by Halfords. No receipt needed either. Just swapped it for a new one straight away.
  18. Video showed his car and trailer with a boat on had broken down. Trailer had a blow out. He was able to stop the traffic and get his car and trailer onto the hard shoulder, so as not causing an obstruction - mad maybe, but he prevented a nasty traffic jam!
  19. I'm going to Thornfalcon near Taunton car show today.... Might be a bit damp!
  20. It was broken off. Came like that. Did the job though. I had to swap to a 1.5t machine for some smaller stumps and the difference is chalk and cheese. Small one bounces and rocks all over the place, feels very unstable compared to 5t when digging out stumps.
  21. Landscaping company specified digging out, so roots would go as well. Took me a day with 5t digger. This was the biggest, took an hour to dig out and only just managed to get it out of the hole!
  22. Similar to others. I tacked this onto the back of the shed last weekend. Just got to film it up now!
