  1. First load with new timber body. Works well. http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  2. There will be now, so better be quick [emoji23] The body was spotted in another tree surgeons yard and they were happy to sell it as wasn't being used. Result! http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  3. Picked up the flat bed with bolsters and sockets welded in today. Had 4ft chopped off the end. Body is now 15ft long. http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  4. Thanks Farmer Rod, but my lorry is not lez compliant so will cost £200 on top of the normal charge. Probably makes it too expensive.
  5. I spent time already working out what it will hold in the grab. I have a hook and slings for big bits 👍👍
  6. Little Saturday morning job for Hargrave Tree Services [ame]https://vimeo.com/176037338[/ame] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. Best take the empty coffee cups and maccy d bags out first 😂
  8. Awesome! I'll have to try that, an 18t wheelie . 😂 Only kidding. The 20yrd bin is 16ft long I think? Thanks for the heads up on that, I'll have a re-think.
  9. The other plan is to offer my services picking up timber for other local tree surgeons, so they don't have to spend half a day cutting up a trunk and doing countless trips in a transit size vehicle.
  10. I had a 7.5t with a big chip body on it. Still got it, not sure whether to sell it or not at the moment. The job we are on at the moment is perfect for the grab truck. Lots of timber coming out, dropped a bin off in the driveway to chip into, and brought another bin in for the timber. Grab has been used to pull the tops out of large conifers weighted towards a road, and to remove a low branch over a garage roof, no need to rig it!
  11. Didn't have too far to go luckily. It had red and yellow sticky warning tape on it when I left. Was more concerned about making some cars into convertibles. Going to cut it to 16ft so I can have 2x 8ft lengths if necessary.
  12. Picked up a flat bed body today. Bit long at the moment so going to find someone to cut the end off and then fit it out with sockets for upright bolsters. 🙄🙄
  13. Looks good. Do you keep it on the trailer all the time or is it way enough to load / unload. I have the machinery to lift things easily.
  14. Are these woodland mills transportable or static once built up? Now I'm getting big wood in,I can never find a miller interested so thinking I'll do it myself!
  15. Ooh... That hurt Bob. My truck isn't lez compliant I'm afraid. So will cost £200 just to drive in.
  16. I use a garden hoe for scraping ivy off walls.
  17. I see you went for the yellow polka dot bikini this time. Suits you Al.👍
  18. Probably 70% of what is in the photos Some western red cedar in amongst it as well now.
  19. Perfect job for the grab and avant. Also the large chip bin takes all day to fill up. Lucky to have a big driveway to get it all in👍👍
  20. Biggest ones are 2ft in diameter. Smaller ones 1 - 1.5ft.
  21. Probably you! I'm in West End near Lightwater and M3. Edit : Delabodge might be nearer.
  22. I'll be more specific next time. They are approx 8-9t loads. I put delivery by 18t grab so people would know what size truck would be turning up for access. Two loads have gone now, 1 load left of smaller diameter wood and one trunk.
