  4. Passed my C+E driving test today, so can now put the avant and trailer on the back. Perfect combination for clearing timber! http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  5. The bolt inside the selector housing was still there. So not that. Moved the lever round a spline and can get gears again now. Somethings moved somewhere. One of the gearbox mounts doesn't look very good a.o might be the box has twisted back slightly on the other mount, affecting the travel of the gear stick mechanism. http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  6. [emoji106] interesting. Thanks http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  7. Conifer wouldn't last very long though would it? Or do you treat with a preservative of some kind? Cheers...Al http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  8. Spoke to a mechanic earlier who said a small 10mm bolt has a habit of falling out of the gear selector under the top cover. Reckons this is what has happened. It feels like the gear stick runs out of travel before the gears mesh, just getting a load of grinding 2nd 4th and 6th were ok though. Made hills interesting today [emoji33] Will check it out tomorrow after work. Thanks for your reply. http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  9. Seems to be 1st, 3rd and 5th that are impossible to select. Going to make driving interesting today..... http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  10. Have you got a photo of the bit? http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  11. Is it just a push fit? Weld something on the end to fit a big slide hammer to? http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk

  14. This bit? http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  15. Thanks for the replies guys. I tend to buy Iveco parts anyway as my local one will deliver to me if I need them to. Have always found the price of Iveco parts to be fair. Zeppelin Trading can have good prices on iveco parts as well. http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  16. Thanks Billy, I'll have a look at that tomorrow. Cheers http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  17. Thanks Peter. It might be the clutch needs changing and that'll sort both problems out. My 7.5t clutch was heavy as well until it was changed. Hope you're keeping busy.[emoji106] http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  18. In the last week it's getting increasingly difficult to engage 3rd gear. It's as if the gear stick runs out of movement to engage the gear, so just grinds. Was wondering if there is any adjustment? Any other 180e23 owners out there? It's a 6 speed box. The clutch is also very heavy to press compared to.my 7.5t Iveco, but this might be usual. 19. Bolsters are 2 inch box with 4mm metal. http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  20. It's a flat bed roro so not the chassis. I'll measure the box section later. http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  21. I had these bolsters and sockets put on recently by a welder near Chertsey. http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  22. Couldn't you convert what you have? Put bolsters on the bed with detachable sides? I think Peter did something like thus with his lorry. http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
  23. Is yours a RoRo as well then?
  24. They turn up on eBay once in a while. I was just lucky when I found my one.
  25. Not now Bob. I did use the 7.5t yesterday for the first time in a couple of weeks, and it felt like a go kart to drive compared to the 18t [emoji23] http://www.cormacktreecare.co.uk
