  1. I'll count tomorrow and take some photos.
  2. Taking down some biggies with 2-2.5 diameter trunks. Cut into 8 or 10 ft lengths. Any good for anyone got milling? In the Guildford. Woking / Camberley area.
  3. I hired one like that. Bit of insulating tape cured that problem.
  4. Got a couple 2-3 loads of horse chestnut trunks if anyone wants them. In the Woking area and can be delivered by 18t grab. The wood is 8-14 ft long and 1- 3ft in diameter. £100 a load up to 10 miles from Woking. Any further to be negotiated. Cheers.....Al 07841 143536
  5. That'll be him as he's older than me😂
  6. I've known Jon for about 35 years.👍👍
  7. I've just had some polyester slings delivered from Handystraps! Was looking at their chains this morning.👍 I was looking at 4m ones though. Do you use the full 6m often? Cheers...Al
  8. What size chain and length do you have. Looks like I need 13mm as hiab will lift 7t close in. Cheers..Al
  9. Lorry did well today. Had a couple of 15ft high conifer trunks to remove that were covered in ivy, and grind the stumps out. Trunks were reachable with the grab so went to grab it, colleague was going to cut through at the base, as I put some tension on it the whole tree started lifting, stump and all! That saved a couple of hours.
  10. 👍👍 Got some coming next week.
  11. Where does timber like that go Johny?
  12. Wouldn't be difficult as it's empty now!!
  13. Tested it first to see if the roll over bar would hold ok and it did. Could be handy for getting it over walls and fences where stuff stays on site but no access 👍
  14. I've made a note of that testing station address. Always useful to know where the more lenient ones are 👍😂
  15. Checked out putting the avant in the back earlier. Doesn't leave much room for wood. Might as well leave it in the trailer!
  16. Yes Johny. Looking to get some more so they can be dropped off at jobs for wood or chip.
  17. Thought you had a grab lorry anyway?
  18. Yes, for one load. Truck has about an 8t payload. Price will depend on the distance. Wood can be delivered else where as well.
  19. Not too far from you mate. I'm near Lightwater / Chobham.
  20. Lorry body is 15ft I think. I'll measure it properly.
  21. Contact me if you need timber clearing from a job in Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire area. Can collect large trunks with 18t grab lorry. £150-250 +vat depending on distance from me.
  22. I've had the 150 and bought a 190 as well. Like chalk and cheese in terms of chipping speed and crunchability. I recently traded in the 150 for a 230. The 230 is almost on a par with the 190, and the guys prefer taking out the 230 as it feeds better with the letter box opening. Also crunches up forks well.
