  1. I had a tipping body made for a 130 defender by these guys. Was a good job, but about 10 years ago now. southernvehiclebodies.co.uk WWW.SOUTHERNVEHICLEBODIES.CO.UK
  2. After tightening the belts and alternator belt the anti stress is working again. Spoke to Greenplant as the red light wouldn’t go off and they said it’s not meant to ! It’s normal. It’s a problem when it’s flashing.
  3. Does your anti stress work though? It’s the only thing that doesn’t on mine
  4. Is this the same as cordwood construction Mike?
  5. Out of interest, when the anti stress stopped working, did you have red light on in the control box like this:
  6. This stopped working the other day. Rollers and chipper still work as they should. This light comes on when the rebels are increased to max and goes off when the revs are reduced Main belts and alternator belt have been tightened but made no difference. Swapped relays around to see if the light moves or goes off, and that didn’t make any difference either. What’s wrong please? TIA Al Cormack
  7. It is Strawberry Tree. Arbutus
  8. One of these maybe? ISC singing tree rigging wrench
  9. Big lump is still available. Some of the smaller bits were bought This is one of them milled: Lovely colours Still some largish bits left, but ground needs to dry out a bit before I can grab them
  10. Can we get my mewp into the clients back garden and work from that José?
  11. Do you not use it as a splitter on its own anyway? I use my wp36 like that for rings. Have a bit of rope connected to the lever, so I can stand by the splitter end. Not very H&S compliant though!
  12. Are you sure you don’t want to ask the audience? Oh wait... there isn’t one now. Better ask Clarkson then. [emoji23]
  13. The big lump is spoken for I’m afraid. Someone is looking at the smaller bits, so will let you all know what happens
  14. I picked it some timber today and it was Strawberry tree. Never seen one that big before. Around 3.5ft dia at the base. I have one bottom trunk section, and several 12-20” dia lengths as well Of interest to any one ?
  15. The last pallet lasted me about 10 months.
  16. You get 54 x 5ltr cans, so 270 litres. No idea what oil they use without looking it up. Saws have a lot less issues and run cleaner on aspen, and no nasty fumes, particular when hedge cutting, although have battery stuff for that as well now.
  17. I’ve just bought a pallet of aspen and it works out at £2.67 a litre plus vat. And you don’t have to buy 2 stroke oil or go to a garage and queue up with everyone doing their weekly shopping !
  18. We believe you... [emoji23]
  19. I did the ND at Merrist Wood from 88-91. Had already been climbing for 4 years and decided to get some qualys I don’t remember several of the evenings and weekends! Still live in the area, but don’t go in these days. As you Mick, lost touch with most of the other course guys. Now and again I see a name come up on here or FB I recognise.
  20. This is where it was leaking from, end part had snapped off probably when the bracket broke. Bracket welded back up and another cylinder scavenged from Green Plant. All fixed for £30 [emoji1360][emoji1360]
  21. Thanks guys. I’ll take it off for a closer look. Cheers [emoji1360][emoji1360][emoji1360]
  22. This part on my 230 is leaking hydraulic oil. A parts diagram seems to show a couple of o rings. Anyone know if this will fix it rather than spending over £300 on a new part?
