  1. I have been having an issue with two of these battery hedge trimmers, where the connecting rod keeps becoming disconnected from the blades. Anyone else been having this issue, or know why? Blades aren't jammed, and can be working fine, then get a nasty clattering noise and they jam up where the rod disconnects.
  2. Before I had to move to Xero for accounting and vat etc, I used Joist for doing quotes and invoices. Worked well for me.
  3. How much? It must be a lot bigger than it looks in the photos! I’d be tempted to drive from Woking to Rugby for that amount.
  4. Get another couple of quotes for comparison. I’ve been doing tree surgery for 36 years, and you will probably get a range of prices. Cheapest is not always best! if you put the location then some on here will be able to look and quote. Edit: just seen location is Rugby. Too far from me.
  5. I’ve had a pair for 3-4 months now. Always had Airstreams before and these Boa boots are a lot more comfortable from the second you put them on. Sizing for me is as normal. No issues with the lacing system yet, a joy to use. Get a pair Al, you won’t regret it.
  6. I’ve got one of those already. A wife who spends loads on amazon! [emoji23][emoji23]
  7. Surely that would be a warranty repair then, so won’t cost anything?
  8. Leaky pipe letting air in. Tightened jubilee and bled system, all good. It’s up for sale because I’ve found the same thing in a 26t version that’s coming on the market soon [emoji1360] £8500 + vat if anyone is interested, complete with grab and 2 bodies. Big chip bin and a flat bed with bolsters and 5t tie down rings.
  9. Any pointers as to where I might find a hydraulic oil filter like this Thread in the middle is likely to be imperial
  10. Just below max on header tank. It’s like an air bubble moving around the system, or lump of muck?
  11. Cooling system on my lorry was being weird today. All was fine, then blower started blowing out cold air, temperature gauge climbed right up, then dropped back to about 50, then started warming up back to 85ish, and blower blew out warm air again. It did this a few times today, but not always with the temperature gauge right up. Cooling system is just standard radiator, header tank, thermostat and water pump. Any ideas what is failing? Cheers Al
  12. I have a Henchman tripod and the welds are going where the steps attach to the uprights in a couple of places. I like the platform and bar at the top to lean against. A customer of mine has a set of Haesgawa tripods, and they are much better built and sturdier to use, thnan the Henchman. It is what I will be buying next time.
  13. Thanks guys. I'm picking up an old grain bucket off ebay on Saturday, and will get it modified to fit the tele handler. The forks on the telehandler have a tip function, so should work. Cheers.
  14. Hi all Can anyone point me in the right direction to find a grain bucket that attaches to pallet forks on a telehandler? I have an old Liner Giraffe and the headstock is fixed, so no quick release. Cheers.... Al
  15. All good. Predator say there is meant to be a slight gap as it pushes on the outer race to stop it spinning.
  16. Going to press it out again and measure, also check the housing isn’t damaged in any way stopping the bearing sitting properly.
  17. Pressed the old bearing out and the new one in. The oil seal in the ring is not sitting flat to the bearing housing, even though the bearing is pressed fully home. The bearing supplied looks a little different to the original, but assuming they are the same size. Any ideas?
  18. Collar and stub is fine. Picked up a new bearing and oil seals today, so got to press the shaft and bearing out, and then back in again.
  19. Anyone done the job of changing this bearing on a Predator? Cheers...Al
