  7. im using the brand new hiax protector extreame there like slippers already ive had them 2 weeks. you can change the plate underneath from a flat metal plate or a plate with little spikes on, this however is not so good it says there for branch walking but in fact it ruins the branch punctures the cambium layer and if your foot slip it leaves marks on the branch:thumbdown: so i dont use this opition but a comfy waterproof boot anyhow
  8. audi, vw, seat and skoda are all basicly the same car maybe a seat toledo which is on a bora chassis or audi 100 series. if you have to get high milege get full service history if you can then you know what its had done. id stay clear of vauxhall or rover rover head gaskets are prone to going expensive:thumbdown:
  9. what age you looking for? your unlikely to get a bora for 3k unless its got stupid amount of miles on it. if your going to do lots of motorway driving id go for a 1.9 tdi golf ive got a mark4 i can do south devon a weekend driving around down there and the journey back on one tank. you budget is going to restrict the mileged you can get. passats go abit cheaper but go for turbo diesel though brilliant engines try: http://www.autotrader.co.uk see what comes up for your budget.
