  1. It sure saves a lot of work, do you ( or can you) take the screen out for stuff like that ?
  2. Great days work there, I used to subby climb for Matthias Bauer now & then when he couldn't get his flash gear in,nice guy & good lads on for him.
  3. I've only used it for half a day or so since the new piston went in, I wasn't sure about it but thought for £25 delivered it was worth a shot, I have a 395xp so the 84 doesn't come out much .

  6. Same for me, he even checked with the underwriters about the tipper while I was getting a quote, around £250 for me, saved almost £250 from NFU!
  7. Hi Hodge,i have a brand new GX360 (13HP) electric start just needs oil putting in it,im not sure of the shaft size but i can find out on Monday .
  8. I read the book a long time ago and i think you wind it to the max mark and then back it off a full turn, it looks about the same as where i have mine. Does anyone still use diesel to lube with ? we used to on the Stenner years ago, i'm using water and iv'e just got some new blades(Ripper 37s) and after a while crap builds up on the band slowing the cut right up untill i scrape it off, iv'e adjusted the fiber cleaner thing and its a lot better,just thought diesel might be better, or am i using too much or not enough water.
  9. 22.35kwh up till now, we have 9 panels facing SW and 7 facing SE,not far off 1500kwh in total since the start of Febuary,the best day so far has been 26kwh.
  10. It will be more expensive but instead of solar thermal try solar PV and put a Parsons switch in and get paid for producing your hot water, not the high rate anymore but still ok.
  11. Nice Burr,i had one milled a couple of years ago and my old man has just made this from part of it, i have just put in a order for 2 from him.

  16. where was the tree located..? Hi Rich, the tree was near Cotherstone (Teesdale). I took this pic to get a scale of the tree, and later thought i maybee shouldn't have
  17. Another casualty of last weeks wind...we tensioned the two legs together with a wire rope and then sectioned off the top in fairly big lumps. There was only a road and a couple of smaller trees to avoid, so it came down quite quickly.
