Hey Chris i would be interested in any firewood you can get including willow and poplar I have an outlet for softwood biomass close to you around 300t per year if you are interested -
I got my 2006 mitsi chipped with the genuine one from new , i cant fault it loads of power 30+ mpg loaded or empty and will give a few cars a good run It gets used and abused lots of sideways motion and carries the legal limit of logs in all year round

I just got one before xmas from stoves online , came next day and seems ok Nice to show a customer how dry or wet the logs are

Oil delivery time is 3rd week in january round here , they are delivering to the needy first . The price has rocketed to nearly 80p a litre I am now getting twice as many log orders in as i can cope with How do you say no to the old dear who has no heating

I run a 5 400 with solid blades , i am going to upgrade to an 8 400 which will have the thinner wear blades , just wondering if there are any better han the larger ones ?

Try batsons at tow law I think most of the wood closest to you is already going for firewood and biomass

The 2 limbs that came down were about 2 ft dia aout 12 ft long of good oak possibly selable more than likely would go for firewood Maybe 6cube ??? with branches up here that is worth £60 a cube split there is around £360 + gone

I think the saws went as well We get texts from the local force , mainly no plates , if i see anything sus i text no to them They are checking them anything wrong crushem No waste lisence crushem They can do some sort of house raid as well for stolen property some how

At 10 this morning a tranny pickup pulled up alongside an estate fence 4 big lads got out and started cutting 2 large limbs up into tranny My wife went out in the car and saw them , we have a line to the police for poachers so police were called , within 5 mins they were there caught in the act They have already had there tranny taken away to be crushed , no tax mot etc yeeeeeeha We have had around 6 vehicles crushed recently , and a lot less poachers around
