  2. Try one of the trailer companies Triffit trailers at york were very helpfull what you goimg to tow ?
  3. Video would be good All the timber is in the round at 3m lengths of chipwood i am hopeing it will be better than the botex which is not really right for my situation , which is up for sale

  7. I am looking to buy a mini digger to tow behind a 4x4 , mainly to feed a chipper , so probably about a 2.5 tonne machine . Not sure on what make really , seems to be a bit of amine field , looking for any advice please I am looking for zero tail swing and 2 speed tracking as i will fit a trailer and use it in the woods Will it have enough oil flow to run a 12 tonne hydraulic splitter ?

My brother in law has bought 2 big stoves to help heat his He is not a hands on type , so he got a HETAS approved stove installer , and was very anoyed when the guy said that he wouldnt fit the stoves as they were too big for the rooms and that the insurance would be void if the house burnt down. Is this right or is he pulling a fast one ?
  11. No problem Lorry Do you have a tip site at Bishop , because i will take all your spare timber can collect if you want I can pass some work on to you if you want , i want to concentrate more on logs and biomass
  12. Another tip site for you , easy access on main road at piercebridge I will take any amount of hard or softwood including poplar and willow
  13. I have a friend who has bought a second hand transaw , i am trying to streamline his logging business , does anybody have any idea what sort of cubic meter it is capable of per hour He dosent seem to be getting the output per day I live too far away to see it working

  19. I have 3 chippers and a stump grinder from him no problems at all I have just sold him one , which chipper are you after , i am going there next week
  20. It is a 3 point linkage one i have , it does the job ok , i have it on the back of the chipper so i can unclip it and put it on a trailer , or tractor I just thought it would be easier , and quicker
  21. Thanks for the links , i do like crane cam It does seem to be working well , in one shot you can see the linkage working well I use an old botex at the moment , just wondering what the remote option is like to use i suppose you will get used to it
  22. Does anyone use a mowi crane for feeding a chipper , i was just wondering are they a lot better to use than say a botex ?
  23. heizohack hm 5-400 for quick sale 2006 model good condition , new stress control , spare blades and sieve . 3 point linkage no pto shaft used for biomass . the blades are the heavy duty type £10 000 Will put in the classifieds when i get pictures and video
