  1. yep its a nice DB could be doing with a bit of tlc and a paint to stop the rust thats starting to show threw. dont know much about the james jones roll bar but the company is still trading, altho i dont think it dose the steel fabrication now.
  2. big tractors would help to save your winch pulling the tractor about. this 4 tonne igland fairly pulled my mog about today. had to use double line (pulley)to move the wee davie brown
  3. steve whats your new toys name? have you tryed giving your chipper a piggy back yet to see how it fits. hope it dose your job ok
  4. steve youd be better to see the one you want before you buy. wouldnt know about the jcb as it looks a bit heavy altho it dose have hydrolic tip which is better than the falling over tip system that your one on ebay and my honda power barrow work with. tracks are always messy when you turn, how do the muck trucks compair?
  5. some simple maths: 8ft = 2.44 metres 5ft = 1.46 metres 1ft 10ins = .558 metres therefore a 8x5 filled up 1ft 10 = 2.44x1.46x.558 = 1.9878 cubic metres of logs near enough id say now children :001_tt2:
  6. dont aim to get 100% of the jobs you price, if you do your too cheap. better aiming for 70 -80%

  15. its a timberwolf. bought it of skyhuck last year. iv also got a 6"TP that i was thinking of fitting on front of u900 iv already got a front linkage and reversing gearbox just needing snotted together

  19. steve how much will it lift? and how far out?
  20. i have a kawasaki kbh48. good machine mine will have done atleast 500 hour now with no problems. there a bit cheaper price wise compaired to stihl, think they have 2 year warrenty as apossed to stihls 1 year to altho i could be wrong.
  21. try working with a few less pegs too. trust me you wont slip down it like the boys trying to get the ham off the greasey pole at (mirymass) irvine.

  24. if its the same as mine the other end runs on a green plastic plug / bush thingy. theres 2 threaded bolt holes that you screw a 12mm(?) bolt in to draw the plug out this plug bush has a grease nipple in the middle that has to be lined up with a tube inside for lubrication hope im talking about the right bit
  25. think your gaurds were sleeping when i passed. best get them more red bull! was on douglas street cutting grass and putting wood chip down on an old dears flower beds. nothing exciting. seam to spend all my life these days cutting grass. still it pays for all my toys
