  3. i don't drink enough. 2 cups of tea morning and evening, 1 cup of water at 10.30. 1 and 3.30. Probably less than 3 litres a day I just don't feel thirsty Still seam to wee a lot!
  4. A big mac stump in Salcombe that greg from clearview trees ground out for me. only took him a couple of hours would have taken me a week with my alpine magnum!
  5. I've got a balfor a11 at the moment which i think is just a bit slow and only 11t but it still manages to split most stuff i put through it. Anybody used any of the balfor pro splitters yet?
  6. ha ha. i usually fish off torcross, beesands hallsands or thurlestone beaches. i thought i hadn't heard of any about yet.

  9. Very nice back! Does the back bar get in the way when chipping? does the chipper blow over the top of the bar or do you take the bar out?
  10. How do you take your photos? have you got a fancy mode on your camera? They certainly make them stand out from all the other photos!
  11. I've got tonnes of softwood but haven't got time to process it. your welcome to come to look. tq7 2qe. slapton
  12. I've had mine now for about 5/6 years i think it was about 3500 but that included the husky powerhead with a modified exhaust which is very loud! i have never separated the two as i have an 880. i have never even had to take the cover off so i don't even know whats inside, i know its belt driven so presumably it would need a different sprocket arrangement. Don't put oil in the power head needs 35:1 mix as per instructions i bought 5 sets of teeth when i bought the machine i think they were £30ish per set. there were several videos on youtube to watch and on their website
  13. they are hard work! especially if you are used to big grinders. You have to dig around the stump to start with. The moment the teeth hit anything other than wood they go dull and when they are dull its even harder work. But i have ground out a 3ft+ euc stump in the middle of a well established shrubbery in half a day.
  14. i like the stool. how did you attach the legs?
  15. just out of interest did you try the norcar mini loader?
  16. That is really nice. Wouldn't want to spill anything on it!
  17. Flipping heck! No i haven't had a quote yet, I'm waiting for them to send me some pics of similar jobs. Could you post some pics of your truck?
  18. thanks for the replies. its either them or get a local agricultural engineer to make it up. can't make up my mind
  19. Just been looking at them online, just interested to see if any body has tried them.
  20. Nice, mines the smaller 420
  21. Anybody know of any good firms to carry out a tipper conversion on my l200? Any pictures of what they have done?
  22. Any experienced climbers about to give me a hand. Just trying to catch up after all the wet weather, so 1 day a week probably for a couple of months, maybe more if we get on. Kingsbridge Dartmouth Totnes area Call Andrew 07813902311
  23. Great photo! How'd you take it? and was age road really curved that that or was that a fancy effect on the camera?
  24. Thanks for the replies. I think it was the constant yanking on brash to feed to the chipper that initially started it. I can't use the 150 single handed now.
