  1. Could have done with it for same reason on the drive home jon, 2hrs of rumbling thunder from silky! Had to turn radio up sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  2. Non puncture tires will be more then your 45quid and not everyone can weld or has the space too do it but yes I thought it was a bit expensive but don't regret it as find it saves my duff knees hurting as much shifting brash. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.

  5. Spotted a bid trip point in your business plan 'friendly farmer' mythical beast that is sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.

No to vests, image thing to potential clients again, hi viz is for roadside but got orange breathable polo's and sweatshirts stitched up with company name and often get positive comments about it and the safety easy to spot thing is also good but a pain when you need a discreet pee in a hedge. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  7. It was at Forcett park James. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  8. I'll be thinking of you while I'm sat in my air conditioned cab chipping today :-P sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  9. It's one of these situations where the client wants it gon because they are worried about it and typically feer it's going to fall and squash them and insurance company will no longer cover them because of the size it's now gained. a planning officer with no tree background says it's fine as it has leaves on it (no joke, that's how she judges a healthy tree it has to be dead to be a problem) The client almost wants me to find something wrong with it to support its removal. Worst part of the job imo, catch 22 ain't it knowing that if you don't someone else will and get the work which is what we do at the end of the day, cut em down. I'll also get my hat sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  10. Ah well worth a try. Liking ozys video on the bmx track, Seb looks like he's had it by the end! sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  11. No but no sine of fungal activity around ground level and normal even shape to the circumference up too around 4ft. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  12. A absolute all you can eat buffet for the spuggys! sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  13. Lucky man Paul, I think the hush hush should be a good mod from the sneaky peeky I had of it, you'll have to get that harness dirty now or drop it off for me too do an impartial review on your behalf sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  14. Spotted these trees along the edge of a road today, almost totally stripped of greenery by these little critters. Looks spooky seeing these 4 trees draped in webs! Wounder if the trees will take it and come back? sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  15. A few more pictures. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  16. Nothing like a prusick! Each pull below the device also advances it so eliminating the need to hold your weight and tend slack so in theory conforms to best practice of having minimal or no slack in a system. Bare in mind you should tend the slack almost every pull so as not to introduce a fall risk scenario and such a shock load on your gear if pulling from above the zz. I agree with utilising the trees own structure but find a sling below is so much more efficient for primary access. Or reentering the tree after a brake when all you have is the bare trunk. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  17. Forgot to add the goo in the cavity was rancid, nearly made me retch and normally iv got very little sense of smell. Some of the Crown has normal size /color leaves but the very upper crown is smaller and paler. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  18. Dryads saddle was my guess but wasn't totally sure, Fluted may not be the correct term but it has 3 distinctive raised ribs running down the trunk for approximately 7ft, at the base the trunk is an even shape all round then the ribs start at around 4ft running up to around where the main wound is, apparently a limb that failed about 8 years ago. The wound is almost top right of the 1st picture. Relationships with the tree is the client wants it out as scared it's going to kill them, council has tpo it but planning officer admitted she would not want a tree that big near her house and didn't have a clue when I tried to explain about my worries about what was going on inside. If it does come down I'll get you any pictures you may wish too see. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  19. Thanks tony would you say it would be structurally compromised, I know hard to say without a full investigation but owners are a bit panicky as the tree is about 4m from the house and overhangs the bedrooms, reaction growth is not my strong point so any input is appreciated. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  20. No just think he was worn out from all the excitement and bouncing around the place, bless sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  21. Better than the 4 it took me 2 of which I had Paul snoring to content with! sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  22. Nobody? sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  23. Little bit of woodland thining today with the iron horse, client wanted all the brash removing so filled the rb and the ifor, prob about 11m of the site so far. This bit of kit makes life on these jobs so easy as you just drag the whole tree out, sned it next to the chipper and then pull the pole out of the way to crosscut and stack. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  24. No that's what I did on the stedy drive home with a rather full load of chip sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  25. Forgot 2nd picture, sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
