  1. Big pops over early thismorning and a little cherry outside the school to clear.
  2. I've just got the same ben and it's been fantastic the last few nights with highways call outs as when you turn and look at something reflective like the back of the truck it dims itself so you don't get dazzled by the reflection and the battery on smart mode seems to last an incredible amount of time and the little indicator on the back showing how much charge is left if very useful.
  3. Nope because they just hitch the chipper up to a mates pickup /van and off they go.
  4. Not a trailer, 24ton 6 horse truck so even worse. No sat having a chill infront of logburner before the phone starts ringing again, wind seems to have dropped of a lot for now so hopefully get a bit more sleep as only had 2hrs last night.
  5. Sister was out to Weatherby in a horse box taking a few to the races, she said anything over 40 just became scary especially with a load that can move on its own.
  6. Very, taking a time out at moment to catch a few hrs sleep and scoff some chilly to refuel.
  7. If my house ever floods we are all in serious problems! Lots of roads are bad like and only possible in some 4x4s, spotted a few submerged vehicles on my outings today. Some people have no sense of what they can get away with in a normal car. I bet a few wish they had stayed at home. Big gusts on the a66 were interesting even pushing my landy around quite worrying but a lot worse for a few truckers
  8. A gentleman never tells so I'll look forward to hearing all about it
  9. Bet your still looking at or doing jobs thinking if only it was done, ah that would make that easier, hope it's done before we do that job.
  10. Swaledale is fairly bad and Wensleydale is getting claimed by the ure
  11. Could have done with that beasty and it's strong arm today to help shift some of these fallen trees. Looking forward to seeing how it looks when your done 👍
  12. Think with everything else going on he's past caring to be honest.
  13. A few from last night, flooded roads and just now. Joy 😂
  14. Nice 1 garden kit, will definitely be getting some tickets as soon as they go on sale and 6 cans should do me around 2 weeks so worth a punt at winning them.
  15. Pagan symbol of ever lasting like even in the midst of bleak winter months thought to bring good luck if brought indoors and decorated. Taken on by the early Christian faith as a sign of christ being born amidst winter so adopting the old traditional ideas with a new meaning.
  16. Nope and never did my back any good carrying them miles on rolling cutting back jobs.
  17. Ow how I really don't miss that yard the dust and 700 big foot cones!
  18. I'd just be happy to have a mog whichever way I was feeding it
  19. You'll retire on that lotwadkin. 😇 Seriously though it's really nice looking grain and I hope you find someone who can make something to do it justice and make your efforts financially worth wile at the same time.
  20. [quote name=Joe Newton; Why are you standing behind a curtain' date=' pervert!?[/quote] Durr obvious........ Hiding from the bloke about to punch him 😜
  21. Depends on traffic density, length of work site and length of sight lines, got all the spec's in the new edition red book in each vehicle at the yard if you want. From what a highway inspector was saying at 1 of our h&s briefings recently they are actually preferring give and take to having men in the carriageway with stop go board's as they are in the most vulnerable position at the ends of the work site. Of course traffic lights with convoy system to control speed of passing traffic or total Road closure are the ideal situation to increase workforce safety but not always practical and sadly not always economic.
  22. Yeh just bugs me when it's less than my costs, cash, on a weekend with gear that's not there's and bugger all insurance.
