  1. The new 576 autotune got an extremely favourable review in Forestry Journal not so long back.
  2. Good stuff! Bit of allsorts there.
  3. Big tree, nice one. Did you manage not to hit any metal whilst felling?
  4. Works the other way too. I'm on T mobile and can use orange now. Its been quite helpful to me as we live in a patchy area.
  5. Must have been Yellow Wind then.
  6. Stevie Blair does this as a courtesy to people from New York.
  7. I think its nice that they tapered the height of the one on the right, to get the eye used to the twenty mile gap of trees to the distance. Good job!
  8. Might there be an electricity line above these trees?
  9. I see what you're saying. I'll cross that other local enquiry off my list then.
  10. Cheers Tony! I'm still learning!
  11. Might be!
  12. I've just given my Tirols a do with some wax in a tin called 'Cofra'. I let you know how good it is. Always been a Nikwax fan, or better still the old stinking Mars oil in a can with the brush in the lid. It was the best, but stank the worst. God knows what it was made from.
  13. Not the advocate of the 'Southern Tickle' then, Dave? Its being felled, don't worry!
  14. I'm not sure either way! Yellowish gills, no ring and brown stems is making me think Flammulina... but it could be Armillaria....
  15. Hama or Monkey D? Is this Flammulina? Seen on Horse chestnut.
  16. I once had to stay in a 2 Star hotel, ffs. It was shocking. There was only one pillow each and the wine list was extremely limited.
  17. Pull rope looks very tight? A already leaning tree and a bit of over zealous pulling looks to have contributed to it somewhat. Still, he's ok and he will have learnt something from the experience.
  18. Or a plan view of a septic tank? (I always use the same size file right up to the witness mark.) :evilgrin02 :
  19. Nah! Turn the bit near the saw round to 6 o'clock and its a wild boar sausage!
  20. Picked up a couple of remedial jobs from regular clients, but nothing to go rushing off to. They can wait til back end of next week.
  21. How so?
  22. Presumably he was driving it along the public highway? If so, then he should rightly have been on white, unless he qualified under one of the exemptions. I was referring to plant, as in woodchippers etc, which are not vehicles.
  23. I've never heard of anybody putting white diesel in plant?
