  1. Interesting. good pics. top one looks like some sort of tree brain.
  2. Any idea what species is best for the job. I have been researching a fair wack but would appreciate some experienced opinions. Am looking for something fast growing e.g. Salix,Polplar etc but also looking for something that can be dried and and burns well. We obviously want a big yield too. I hear that Castanea sativa is a good choice but it is obviously slower growing. A rotation on 5-7 years would be preferable. Nice one.
  3. How do you guys go about attaching bird and bat boxes to woodland trees? Are there any tree friendly ways of attachment other than using a screw or nail.If anyone has any interesting information it would be very useful. I herd today that you mustn't face a bird box south . cheers

  7. ive seen something rather simular to this but purple. it was coming out in the gap between the bark and cambium on oak logs. I thought it may have been the start of 'Jews ears@ but maybe not.
  8. I do when i remember or when i have time to look like a new age arobics teacher. But it does help and if footballers, rugby players etc do it so should we. Recently have even considered taking it a stage further...........Yoga
  9. Try the poor mans pantin and u will know wat I mean dude.
  10. Poor mans pantin loop the rope and have the tail end on the inside. Put your foot in and point your toe down and push to aid ascent. Point your toe up and the loop losens. Always useful when ur to tired to foot lock.......................

  19. Ive trained a small gibbon to take mine to the very top, best anchor point. I treat him very well and he even sings a song as he skips to the top.
  20. thanks for the info. I was mainly looking for info on the tree austria 3. but hopefully you guys have helped some of the gear freaks out there. If noddy has more gear than he displays he should put it on his site.
  21. Where do you guys look online to find new gear? Which site do you normally find most up to date? Ive just had a look at 'Drayer' and it has got gear ive never seen before but i can only look at the pictures as i do not have a degree in german.
