  1. i have a job from dec 07 that still haven't paid. thinking of depositing a truck load of tree rubbish on his drive

  3. doesn't the highways act over ride the TPO thats what i always thought and have done.

  10. they can cut to the boundary as long as there is no tpo or Conservation area restriction. also they must offer you your branches back!!
  11. I get that sometimes. it worries me that they will get burgled or some catastrophe will happen when they have left the house open for us and ill get the blame. I always politely say no thanks!

  13. yes it's more than one trip, it would make a difference how far away the tip site was, i generally work quite close to home
  14. well... should i say that me and my groundie could have that done in a day. I'm not entering in to a argument over it, If you don't think you could then thats fine
  15. it could be done with a two man team in a day without doubt. £600 a day for a two man team aint bad where i am. i do however have a free tip for timber and chips
  16. I did a Walnut last week, difficult to get out on but lots of growth on the inner crown so quite easy as far as choosing a good shape / good size branch to reduce to.

  18. looking at the pic i would have said i could get it done in a good day for two people so was thinking £4-£600 but after seeing your prices i would go a lot higher. I doubt id get the job for more than say around 750 tops round here! unless the client was loaded

  20. i read that ivy can create micro climate on the tree and provide habitat that otherwise wouldn't be there
  21. does this only work on the way back in though? as you'd need to set up the other end at the far end of the branch right?
  22. id get as gooder one as you can afford as they take a quite a beating i paid 14K for mine
