  1. Reduce back that over extended leader on left, widen planting pit and mulch it. Clearly a feature tree in yr garden, it will need room to grow without competing with the grass. K
  2. Chain that is sharp, oiling well, should be clean n shiny, no kakk between rivets or mukk in gullets. Yr sawing clean hardwood wood too, hmm. Blunt chain or little oil reaching it get tar like sawdust sticking to it. K
  3. Just dont think its the chain oil , is the chain clean after cutting ? No burnt kakk on it ? K
  4. Yer, new postcode will do it, went thru 3 tax forms once because of that 😑 K
  5. I have no idea without actually seeing it in action - once was doing a lot of sprocket tips ( 3) in a hardwood Forestry job, then went up a tooth on drive sprocket and it stopped happening 😳 K
  6. Thats baffling 🤔 yr cutting hugely so you know wot yr doing! Then the bar is shagged after one chain.... 😤 K
  7. THAT is a lot of ringing up 😯 K
  8. Thats appalling - looks like our work 😆 K
  9. ..... And wot saw is it? Stihl have that silly hairspring drive for the pump, which can break ( spray test would reveal that?) k
  10. AND lovely weather for it ☺️ K
  11. First check oil getting to the bar groove ( take chain off n refit bar n run saw on light throttle) that does seem a huge wear rate 😮- i toss bars after 3 or 4 chains. K
  12. He is. Fvvking ridiculous commitment. K
  13. God you better catch up.. Am on my second bottle, and its 'comfy' chair... K
  14. Nation wide was a current affairs program in the North, and yr pissed. Thats the difference. K
  15. Go inside then you silly bugger 😉 K

  19. Is why i wont have anything to do with them outside of gardening jobs. You might have to lump it 🙁 trailer may help. K
  20. You need Moose fr that 😉 bit of a trek tho, its the annoying Transit conundrum in Arb ( constantly soft OSF tyre n overweight) K
  21. Yea you do, they are out fr just a week then drop armfuls of silky flowers that are slippery as fvvk on tarmac, mind yr hip 😉 K ( plus my old favourite " Red sky at night - Angel Delight! " )
  22. You just cannot judge how far fungal decay has compromised the wood at the cut, often its nigh invisible, last big Oak down was sheeted with mycelium at base, felled well but we were dragging them over with a tracked chipper regardless as there were buffer ends other side of the fence next to them. K
  23. Was wondering when that penny was going to drop on here with some folks. My bid would have been 600squids as am not far but wouldnt touch grinding that stump and my mate wouldnt thank me for asking him to grind it neither. K
  24. Bless him. Not a Royal fan but would of been nice to get that telegram off the Queen 🙁 K
