    Definately dose properly- sick of seeing people hose it on neat thinking it will work better, it's effect is microscopic in action and won't flow properly through the plant without enuff water solution. K

    About 60 quid then ? used them a lot and frankly they are 19th century kit. Good fr a days lifting n draggin - then go buy a hydraulic timber grapple. K

    @SbTVF only thing i will add and its my first words when training guys in tree felling amd i always say it " once you start yr chainsaw you are completely responsible for what happens next" its quite clear from then on. Of course the next words are usually " yr fucking chains blunt - go sharpen it" K

    More a case of where it is - had a healthy mature Oak pollarded yesterday. Stilted root flare and was unsure, Target was multi million £££, so had it Pollard fr Habitat ( at crownbreak) lots of other similar Oaks nearby and the Eco benefit is improved with a big Owl box on it an pecker holes bored in it. Open grassland next to boundary, so wols can enjoy ? . Decide yr intent or need. K

    Use Treehog. Comfy from Day 1, thick rubber over toe cap so probly better fr machine operators an fabric cuff so not too achey on yr calf, getting up n down all day. Not dear neither. Leather good an last more than a year. K
