  1. Thats obviously not enough to be considered as high.....
  2. IIRC Sweden was on the track to be the first country to go cashless, they were pushing for it. IMO going cashless is way easier for the consumer but it just puts more money into the pockets of others ie Mr visa and Mr mastercard therefore taking money from consumers and merchants.
  3. Bio oil is apparently good for scars according to the Mrs. It isn't cheap but she always has a bottle handy when I bring some Stella's back from the shops.
  4. Those Aussies are bleedin cheeky buggers. Zelensky must have been gutted when he saw this printed on his Kamakazi attack drones.
  5. Anywho. With today's new events I guess that we are going to see a fair bit more of an escalation in the middle East.
  6. I think that you maybe getting most of that info from Facebook. I don't see the yoof obsessively following and stressing about world events. They are still hanging around the local off licence/chippy/corner shop, watching YouTube, playing football, Fortnite, giving the girls a bit of grief to try and get into their knickers and if your a gypo out doing a bit of grabbing. I think that you would have seen most of the population running around and thinking WTAF is going on during ww2.
  7. I think you're right in that its not worth worrying about it as we can do feck all about but I do think it's worth keeping half an eye on what is going on in the world.
  8. There was a movie back in the 80's along those lines. Space invader slot machines looking for the highest scorer. Dunno what it was called like. Trumps big plan imo, is to pull out of NATO and stop all funding to Ukraine. Putin nukes a remote part of Ukraine, NATO shts their pants and Ukraine surrenders. Probably over within an hour nevermind 24. I doubt that he is going to threaten Putin into giving up.
  9. "I identify as someone with one leg" I'm having that one.
  10. Floppy haired muppet aside, I hope that you aren't dissing COD! Although I'm more of a counter strike man myself. Imagine just for one minute what the aftermath would look like. Benefits street "I can't work because of my nerves" would be the only living survivors. I think that its best to go down with the ship
  11. With all this talk from the top brass around the world urging us to be prepared for some kind of Russian conflict I was thinking narr, they just want to justify the big budgets that they are asking for. But after seeing this I'm not so sure
  12. Do you think it makes much of a difference to the voters? I wouldn't have thought that it does tbh. Surely it doesn't matter who's in power, these decisions about war probably have feck all to do them.
  13. Sorry to hear about your dad but I think that about sums it up for most of us, well it does for me. It's a difficult one to think about though as you're along time dead.

    Scam?

What I don't understand is why banks allow someone to clear your account out in this manner. My bank stopped and blocked all transactions just before Christmas as I made quite a few online and in-store purchases within 24b hours due to buying kids toys etc. So top marks to mr Coutts, sniff. But, would they allow someone from South Africa to clear my account out due to a silly mistake? If So why the fck would they allow that transactions but not my daily £20 from my local bargain booze for some Stella? Joking aside, it's not rocket science to work out what is a genuine transaction and what looks like a100% scam, from the banks point of view.

    Scam?

Any random text or email asking for bank details is surely a red flag! They are all scams without a doubt. I just delete those things without a second thought. They obviously work though.
  16. Quite true, but you gotta give it to him, he did pull it back with the frog song.
  17. Ahh right, I think you're missing the point. The reason they want to give all kids free meals is because there are kids that aren't entitled to school meals but would benefit from them. Plus the stigma and negative effects associated with getting free meals and therefore being poor etc, etc.
  18. Include the parents and I'll agree to that.
  19. Bleedin hell, who pissed on your chips! It's about kids getting one decent meal a day. If the house is on fire you don't start asking who's fault it is, who's making money out of it you pot the fire out and ask questions later. This is the UK, kids should not be going hungry, if a free school meal helps reduce that then that's good news imo. Maybe some of the parents are idiots who didn't think it through or maybe a partner died or just fcked off, or they just fell on bad times, who knows. As long as the kid isn't the victim because of those circumstances then that's all that matters imo.
  20. It's called being part of a society. How about those of us that don't need meds and care ATM just thank our lucky stars as it could be us next time. You're only a car shooting out of a give way away from ruin.
  21. Excellent news. Shirley, no reasonable person could argue that that isn't a good idea. My hard earned paying to feed kids is a good use of tax imo.
  22. The price of everything and the value of nothing. Tight cnt If I was that vet I would have told you to do one and get the online vet to diagnose and fill out all the relevant forms for your cat.
  23. Well, I had no idea that it was up to those figures! Scandalous to say the least.
  24. It costs the nhs, and therefore us millions, probably tens of millions, actually I bet it's into the hundreds a year for drugs that cost feck all. I would like to say that prescriptions should not be free as it would save at least a squillion pounds a year on wasters that only go to the docs for a day out and a gab but you will get those that really need medical care but can't afford to pay for it which outweighs the scroungers.
  25. Well, I've been doing my 'research' and there seems to be a blanket ban on the ivy and left hooker global take over plan as there is no data available whatsoever. We all know that this is a major cover up and they're just distracting us with old news about some russians having a fight after a night on the potato wine and some religious bods fighting over some land mentioned in a Roald Dahl book. Keep vigilante brothers.
