  1. some stoves it does more harm than good if you keep them in over night just slumbering
  2. -15 here this morning diesel was froze in my truck, i ended up with a heat gun on the filters
  3. could you not just hire the machine in for a week then get a driver ( this is how i drive machines for a mate ) he gets them i drive them HE SERVICES hire out that size of machine

  14. if they give you plenty of work might be worth getting fuel payed for if its a one off charge them too much and they might find someone else for the work
  15. ive got an Air liquide bottle you buy the bottle then just pay re fill, there was another thread on this as peter has the same ,the advantage of this is that everytime you get a refill the bottle is changed also having a regulator fitted directly on the bottle
  16. if the house is double glazed and fairly sealed you need a vent with a stove of any KW

  18. good idea when the stove is lit try opening the house door a tiny bit if the fire stove works ok then you will need a vent post the room measurement s and stove KW also a bit of info if the house is double glazed and i will work out athe vent size needed
  19. also when you smoke test do 2 tests the first one use 2 smoke pellets warm the chimney for 10 mins with either a gas torch or small fire when you do this test as soon as the smoke comes out the pot you put a bag on it and seal it. this will check for any leaks in the chimney or stove(even check in the loft) the second test is the draft test with one smoke pellet light it and set the stove with the vent open to do the test hopefully this helps a bit this is what i did 2 weeks ago on the HETAS coarse
