  3. -16C and sunny, lovely day for it! Did one yesterday as a warm up... this one is a tad bigger and overhanging lamppost, hedge and two other trees. Stripped the two sides from most of the branches but saved one as a "crane" where everything overhanging was swung from and lowered on a heap for the lorry to pick up. Pretty full day and groundworkers didnt have much time to take pics. Descided to fell the remaining tree as the ground was frosen and it did fit!!!

The original Svensk Trädvård harnesses were manufactured (I think) by the swedish company Cresto, at least they are now. I had one when I first started and always thought it was hard work climbing....then I saw the light (!) and realised there were other light and better ones around....I would never go back eventhough the new ones are lighter and less bulky. I have tried a few different ones and really like my TreeAustria.
  13. Come on Mike! Enlighten the upset ones!!!! Some good responses to this video.... and as they rightfully point out....Whats wrong? Not much as I see it.
  14. This happens every few years in Sweden. Absecion is due to light and temperature apparently so when we get an unusually warm winter and sudden snow and cold. The trees recover and old leafs drop as the newones form.
