  1. Yep Right on, Bob. The bend radius is too much on them small porawraps. when using a large diameter rope. Like i said we prefer the buckingham. Or we get a guy with a hobbs:biggrin: After seing reg's device. As soon as they are available thats were my moneys going.
  2. We use a 1/2 inch line for small stuff. Have used a 18mm for bigger stuff but that was a struggle. Kinks up to much to make it safe, if you know what i mean
  3. Dont forget to add a small sling so it can be removed in an emergancy. But you already knew that did'nt you.
  4. Would agree with Bob. The small ones are not that great, Fine if you are rigging off small pieces.but after using a larger buckingham one as well i would go for one of those instead. Or you could save some more pennies and go for Reg Coates's idea, It looks and works great!
  5. I think he's just a bit old school. Like skyhuck says I've had older clients say the same sort of thing to me. They are not racists. But neither are they fools. I think people will call a race of people anything if they dont understand there ways fully.

  12. Yeah we all got li'l tiny roads (highways) over this side of the pond sir. If we had put a bit more thought into it we would have constructed huge roads that could take massive trucks. Then you guys could have sold, all us limey tree guys Chevy's, Fords & Hummers and then you would not have all the economic problems that you now face. Dont you go "puting" a dump bed on us ya hear.
