Dont know if anyone can help but i cant find the video of a guy in Oz/NZ taking down trees with explosives. He also folds one down in three near a road. If you've seen it you'll know the one i mean. Any one know the link it was on Treebuzz but i just cant find it cheers
  3. Thanks Tree Wizard. It sure brings in some business as well
  4. Yeah give it go all help gratefully recieved.
  5. Ha ha ha Brilliant. Old school flames. You just cant beat them. Dont know what i was thinking of, when are you avalible to come round and stick them on.
  6. Call me a bit stupid but where the hell is all this kit going to. Not the sort of haul that you can offload down the pub!
  7. How much for the cats tail?
  8. I Know a guy that used to climb on samson True Blue which is a true half inch rope i beleve It seemed to cover the two criteria: 1,Large enough for good grip 2, Small enough to not weigh a ton Might be worth a look at
  9. What happens with all the whale meat i wonder?
  10. I think it had some nice tree pictures... .. But you are'nt converting me.
  11. Waheey I wonder if my truck gets nicked the police will respond in the same manner. Must admit i just laughed my head off. Looks like they were shooting flour bombs?

  13. Reg, Good points Seems like i missed a few pages and missed the credit others have given. Ever since i started in tree work i have lost count of how many times people say "Whats the biggest tree you have done" Members of the public this is. I suppose i am fed up with the biggest tree debate. But then again i'm low on work and feeling a bit jacked off. So pay no mind to my rambling. Can't comment on the tall trees thread, because i havnt been there yet but will have a look Any updates on the new lowering device? I'm off to price some work. Lets hope we all get some more
  14. Totally agree, But the guys getting flamed for saying the tree was 100' Who gives a f#@k if it was or it was'nt Job done, lesson learned (if there was'nt enough on the job) Cheque is in the bank, Move on to the next one.
  15. Are you saying the main point is that he did'nt charge enough?
  16. Right I have just watched the whole vid. and before this thread turns into a "my dicks bigger then you" contest. I think most people are missing the main point that Buzz and his crew took down two fookin big trees with sh!t access and should be given a bit more credit for a job well done. Who actually gives a toss if the trees were 100'. At least Reg backed his comments up and did'nt just open his can of whoppassflamery.
  17. Hey up Tommy,

Thanks for giving me pauls no. regarding the tickets for lamb of god.

Didnt relise he sings in dark cell

    Cheers again

    Chris

  18. Yep LOLER inspector probaly looks at 13mm all day then gets a new bit of rope and fails it cause he thinks it a rock rope or something like that. Unless that rope is shagged out. He got it wrong
  19. Well i'd go for a hi-lux any day. But its horses for courses. I think alll the trucks you buy now days are more geared up for comfort rather then work. Espcially all those crewcabs with huge alloys dropping the kids off at school.
  20. Yeah I feel your pain Andy. I've been there. Laid up for a week I go to an osteopath now and that keeps everything in check. Hope you recover soon.
  21. Turning circles were a bit crap on the old ones, A guy i subbed for had one and it was pants. good to hear the new one has improved. Its kind of a love it or loath it shape though i think. If your ever in the market for wheels and tyres you might want to check out Silverline in Warwick they did me a good turn on my last ones
  22. Ha Ha BBBW. Them Lpoohundeds couldnt pull the skin off a rice puding. Short at the sides bit long on top please... ...and yes i am going somwhere nice on me hols:001_smile: Seriously are the new ones as good as the old ones? Alisdair your after a 4x4 are you not? Not sure on the surfs havent heard anything bad about them. Try going on the HPOC forum they may tell you more on there.
