  1. Like pete says no need to strip bark as I would think the axe team will do that. Not sure what lengths you can deliver but would imagine that any thing near twelve foot would be good plus a bit for cuts. They might need lengths for tree demos so I wouldn't cut shorter then that. If you can help it. Think you might be supplying The Gywenned Axemen. So I might be worth dropping them a line. Not sure on that one though. What's the show?
  2. Hi woodland. As I guy that chops it sounds like you have got the perfect timber. Anything between the sizes you have got will do. As the guys can slab it down if the diameter is a little bit large. I'm sure if you can supply the roundest, straightest, cleanest Poplar then everyone will be happy, and you'll probaly get asked to supply again. No knots is normally the name of the game. And they will probably cut the lengths into 2 foot sections. So multiples of that would be good I would imagine. Hope that helps.
  3. Sound's Good i would be interested for sure.

  11. Got a call from one of our contractors to help them get a stump out. I was located right on a ditch and had overgrown a culvert, there job was to replace the culvert. Ours was to get the stump out. Cant grind it as the culvert is shagged and the grinder might fall in and we couldnt get a machine any where near it. So one and a half days of digging, winching, mattocking, picking, swearing, sweating and blood letting later.... ... POP out she comes:thumbup: Sorry about having to stand on your head to view them, maybe someone on here has a bit more computer knowledge and can turn them the right way up.

  16. Tommer 9 Sorry i think you took my reply out of context. I would not say that the taking of a human life is something to be celebrated. I would say it was more a case of a bit of positive propaganda. I'm getting sick of hearing about our guys getting blown up, shot, etc. AND FOR WHAT! Not saying the other guys are having a good time, but when it come down to it it was still a good shot.
  17. Unfortunately thats the problem with this country. The bloke should be given all the praise in th world. Good shooting Tex
