  1. Thats why I don't post on youtube
  2. I'd say the crane boom needs greasing also, looks a little dry.
  3. nice job peter, who's is the truck bottom left.
  4. Got to disagree there Mani, if that's the only path out for the lump the climber should position himself 180 degrees the other side the trunk.
  5. why's he putting in a gob for a lift??
  6. Don't like the way the crane driver postions the lump over the climber,
  7. Just checked and it is still a valid listing so I've emailed them again telling them I have also emailed Husqvarna and told them I have reported it to ebay once, who have taken no action.
  8. I've just got a job because when the householder asked the tree man for his advice, he said and I quote, " I'll just cut and you tell me when to stop, I'll cut off as much as you want" Jesus H christ, what a card!! Now that's what I call a Pro
  9. We're on the right lines with galls Tim, jsut don't know which one and after reading up on the one you have sugested it has said that galls rarely affect the overall health of the tree. I think I may have to climb the tree to inspect a little closer, me thinks there maybe something else amiss
  10. Just pm me your bank details Ian and I'll transfer the money. Or if you prefer another method let me know on pm
  11. I'll go £320 ian if you post it all to me for that price.
  12. Your the man Matty, now thats what I call proper organisation
  13. Come on guys, you only need two trees
  14. Yeh, plus if I come along with my luck the coach wheel might fall off, we'll crash into an electrical sub station supplying the computers linked to our nuclear weapons triggering them off at russia, starting world war three and while all this is going on we'll still be sat on the coach in a ditch talking about crown reductions whilst drinking a can of carling wondering what all the fuss is about.
  15. Lol, I think I'll start wearing lucky charms
  16. It is half a day. I missed out the "in" Should be, "What I'll do is book in the job which is going to be in about ten days or so" BTW, bring me 2x chains for my 357 its got the standard 15" bar on on sat
  17. Nice one. Not a good forecast, but there's always the barn to hide in. have also got a small gazebo type affair we can stick gear under just incase
  18. Just got the paper. Two men appeared in court today charged with assault with intent to rob. The men - a 34 year old from holmfirth and a 32 year old from greenhead park area of huddersfield. Lets hope the charges hold up. Just shows what a veiw from behind can disguise. I put them at around 20
  19. Yep, same as my lime problem leaf picture
  20. Looking at the leaf I have again the lumps are quite hard and structured into the leaf
  21. The leaf was low down and was the only indicator of anything causing the dieback. I'm actually lifting the row of trees to clear the building behind, but whilst pricing noticed this lime. What I'll do is book in the job which is going to be about ten days or so and whilst climbing, take some high up samples or inspect the crown. What I did notice is something has been chewing on the leaves also but nothing major. Whatever it is has eaten the leaf tissue leaving the veins
  22. Looked at this one today. Large leaf Lime with partial crown browning. Not all of the same stem has browned one or two secondaries on a single primary have browned. Looking at the leaves it looks like small hairy galls at the junction of of each vein, hairy underneath and ontop. Any idea chaps.
  23. I have had my ropes wet twice in the last two years. I don't do rain
  24. Depends where you get them from, sometimes they are free of charge. However, there are some very effective creams available from the chemist at reasonable cost.
