  1. Nice to see you are less sensetive than some of the OVER PROTECTIVE blokes on here. Thought I'd done something wrong for a minute then :confused1: :confused1:
  2. One reason I like to stay small. My builder mate has loads of non payment problems, they get quotes, get him in to do the job, then tell him they haven't got the money ?????
  3. I nearly always wait till it gets to just before 45 degrees and then cut the hinge, it then tends to jump out a little with no push back.
  4. I'd stay quiet on this thread if I were you Dave, you don't want another rollocking
  5. That must have shook you about a bit??
  6. I am only interested in the sales talk of the machine I'm veiwing, I'll only listen to comparisons with other machines, ie blade change times, feed speeds etc in other words the facts.
  7. I hope, if it was left like that, that you have booked it in for a program of regular maintainance Pete McButcher
  8. I'd rather hear detail from dealers about the internals and build of a chipper than hear it from someone with no engineering background who think they know and can ruin a perfectly good reputation
  9. That was it, forestry division, well pee'd off he was
  10. Bobs picture is of a big shot with an improvised trigger. The reference to teabags is because we were firing teabags at people with the bigshot on Saturday (just ask Monkeyd about his sore gahoonies)
  11. Impressive when the waters flowing strong, which it should have been today. I've done thousands of miles all over that area on a quad, best way to see it.
  12. ...their backup service is impecable, they ring back when they say they will and are very attentive to detail.
  13. I've got 2 years out of my Haix and think they've done well, they are knackered now
  14. Is that the one for Kirklees that my mate was drooling over, Mike
  15. That was so funny, all that crap on his harness spinning round caused a serious hazard
  16. Thanks for taking time out of your visit up north to come and see us David, much appreciated and a big suprise for me, wasn't expected. Hope your gahoonies are ok after the bigshot teabag incident
  17. yes, lets have your photo's chaps and chapess's there can't have been just these few
  18. Me, Pete McSheffrey and Craig (Trees Unlimited) were only talking about this on Sat, we need something the likes of that for projecting a throwbag, something with a stock which you could aim.
  19. Nearly all the chippers I've ever serviced have been between 80ft/lb and 110ft/lb, just gives you a rough idea
  20. I always remember the safety guy who said if all cars were fitted with a 6" spike in the middle of the steering wheel we would all drive very steady, because in effect, the steering columb is a plastic covered spike
