    Celox

Been meaning to get some of this to put in my trouser pocket next to my wound dressing. With the same hope as every body else that i'll just throw it away.
  2. Its very common down in Newport. Little turds are always at it.
  3. Nearly fell out of my chair reading that!
  4. Sorry to hear that. Feel for his family.
  5. Thanks boys. It's an unfortunate reminder that we're not indestructible. Getting a bit twitchy in work at the moment when somebody starts taking short cuts. But on the plus side he's still alive
  6. Cheers Dean.
  7. Yep, your so right, don't take short cuts when working on machines (or with the saws). My old man found this out last week to his cost clearing a blockage on his combine harvester. Lost his right leg and is lucky to be alive as a result.
  8. I'm working in Newport, but we tend to get most of our stuff from Powells towards Hereford or from Safety Tec at Raglan (the poeple that do tree Flex harness) Probably all a bit far from Swansea.
  9. Think it's supposed to kick off around mid-morning (take that to mean what you like). Kit check doesn't start until about 9 I think. I'm aiming to get there around 11-12 to have a look around. Been down there today helping out with some Cedars.

    Scouts?

It depends on what sort of camping permit the leader holds. There are a lot of leaders now that really haven't got a clue about camping or the outdoors to be honest. So the result is a 3 tier permit system. The best being green fields, you can camp any where you like basically. So yes the level of red tape has gone up.

    Scouts?

Having randomly met another member of this forum last week at a Scout Jamboree I was just wondering how many Scouts (and Guides) are in this industry?
  13. Don't know if you've noticed it, but they already do tax fuel!
  14. I've just got the treeflex and currently having the crushed nut problem mentioned above. Hopefully a bit more time playing with it will sort it out.
  15. What about the ISA qualifications?
  16. Not a customer but a friend asked me the other day: "dude - what can you do with trees?" Well I can hug them for a start. followed by: "what you charge?" What, for a hug?
  17. Cool, thanks.
  18. Found it: http://loosechange911.com/finalcut/
  19. There's a third edition out now. But every link I've found in google vid or youtube comes with "sorry removed" etc:sad: Worth watching either way.
  20. What pushes those things out? Is it just compress gas?
