  1. Hi Mik - yes give Helen a call on (01590)681259 for a phone order. Only be able to do phone orders today - any further orders to qualify for the offer need to be completed online by midnight Sunday. I'll be sending out a reminder sat as well as details of the next offer. Rob
  2. Best to add a drive link - don't try - I have some tie straps you can have with some spare lengths if you PM your address over.
  3. Jon I've been using your skidderoon as the demo one today! Remember to call Helen to sort out the order... Everyone else's got sent out with you tom. Will be doing a separate thread on 'skidderooning!' - but first impressions are that this is a very handy little tool!
  4. I'd say the timber jack is better for larger timber as the single hook opens into a wider mouth. Also it is more stable than the dual. The timber jack is the better for rolling and cross cutting logs - the dual is better as a bit more of an all rounder... Dual sort of goes in the truck and travels better than the timber jack as the feet on this are opposite the hook and so takes up more room. Order before the 4th May midnight for the wedges offer! Hope that helps!
  5. Looks very cool! The bars will also only be limited edition: 'Even though the carbon guide bar will only be available as a special limited edition' 780 grams is very light indeed - Sugi light type equivalent is 1393g - Standard Stihl ES bar - 1628g.
  6. I have all the 46" bars in stock for Stihl and Husky... the next Sugi order will increase the range - but I still have plenty of Sugi bars left inc the 46" ones.
  7. It's ok that bar but it's just the nose does get hot - one of the 46" sugihara bars would be better - if you have to get the bar and chain that comes with it you can try and ebay them - as the retail on that 47" solid nose bar is an eye watering £292-00+vat then the chain another £60-00+vat The Sugihara bars are £185-00 +vat.... Worth a think about!
  8. Get a good load of planks of that lot!
  9. Cannon are great bars - but always found the longer bars saggy.... I do the Sugihara 46" (longest they can make in the factory) for £185-00+vat - found this has pretty much no sag - but of course you loose 4" of cutting width. Guide bars
  10. It's not worth anything but it's still worth milling... But it would be a case of free rather than being able to get anything for it.
  11. Yep you can go a bit further with the solid noses to get that extra width.
  12. Nope - I don't think that's fair - I will wear it and it'll teach me to be more careful in the future! (I hope....!) But appreciate the thought!
  13. Hmmm... I think I have suddenly realised why the skidderoon was so popular - the offer was not supposed to look like you got the wedges free with the skidderoon - as you got a price reduction on that.... free wedges only with the larger woodchuck tools. But looking back at it it does look like you get the wedges so I will honour it!
  14. Not going to be at the apf or any other shows this year - Jonsie will be I expect and he will have a good stock of all the range of stuff I do.
  15. They have been out for a while - Jon - they look good.
  16. All the Skidderroons are sold! In fact may be a couple short... So putting price up and a note to say no more - if feedback is all good then I'll get a pallet load in. Thanks for the orders and in advance for feedback. P.S - a few people have asked is it easy to take the wire part of - yes it is!
  17. OK x2 left - I'm going to need one for a vid so the last one will be a little shop soiled - there will be no additional charge for this!
  18. No prob Jon - your one has been encased in carbonite while awaiting your order! Actually didn't realise they were to be so popular as only x3 left!
  19. Well he better get a move on all there'll be none left! .....Joking of course as my life would then not be worth living!!
  20. Thanks! I wonder when Mendip will cotton on! Where are you Jon?
  21. Yep - all woodchuck orders from now until midnight 4th May will automatically get the wedges as well.... no need to put codes or anything like that in.... Thanks for the order

    Down.....

    Good advice 'springs to mind!'
  23. Going to be doing some pretty solid offers now on Chainsawbars ? chainsaw chains, chainsaw bars and chainsaw accessories - sort of 'offer of the week' type thing. All woodchuck tools can be found here Products for the category: Forestry equipment This may take the place of 'arbtalk' throw ins - as although this system works well people often forget to put the code in! If I spot an order that I know is an arbtalker I do add to the order... but 50% of the time people forget... The only rule which will be fixed in concrete will be - they will have a start time and an end time. After the end time that is it - offer gone! So here's the first one - Woodchuck tools will be back in stock next week. Order either the Woodchuck Dual £88-00 + vat Products for the category: Forestry equipment Woodchuck Timberjack £89-00 + vat Products for the category: Forestry equipment Woodchuck Quad £129-00 +vat Products for the category: Forestry equipment New ** Woodchuck Skideroon - only got x10 of these - intro price until end of this offer £39-00+vat (will then go up to £54-00+vat). Products for the category: Forestry equipment and you will get x1 of each size of K+H felling wedge free ie. 5.5",7.5",10",10"TT,12" (usual price of these wedges £45.95+vat). Offer ends midnight Sunday 4th May 2014.
  24. I'd stay around the 50" - it's an easier set up to shift about than 60" and also you can do big and small stuff. Someone on here had unearthed some 50" old stihl bars - solid noses but you may be able to get one off them for a good price. Sharp chain is the key to milling.
  25. 1.25", 1.5", 2.25", 2.5" seem to be popular - I wouldn't have too much thick stuff - as said distorts, tears and very tricky to re saw. No thicker than 4" IMO.
