  1. If you get a chance to have a look at one, you will see there is going to be very very little wear on it. If your around I can show you one.
  2. Quality guy, will be missed. RIP.
  3. Not sure I was walking through the workshop and Mick showed me, so thought I'd get a photo and put it up here.
  4. Spot the mistake.
  5. Had our first deliver of the winches today and now ready for dispatch. Looking good. Winches | F R Jones and Son
  6. Quality as usual.
  7. I did look at this when you posted it on the other thread. I don't think it's any of ours as we didn't have a C saw stolen. Thanks for the heads up though.
  8. This is the book we have a few of left. Also signed by the author. https://www.frjonesandson.co.uk/products-page/miscellaneous/books/best-practices-for-srt-in-arboriculture-vat-exempt/
  9. We have one in the shop for people to come and try on our climbing wall. I've had it out in the wet and no sit back at all.
  10. This sounds about right.
  11. No sorry mate, harmless to all stock. The only thing it harms is those trying to get out blind.
  12. We need to see a ticket or be 100% that the person that will be using it is a pro user, if we are going to post it. No matter what saw it is top handle or not. If it's in store then we can do the proper handover.
  13. Hi It has nothing to do with the certs, Stihl won't let us sell outside the UK mainland. We are a UK mainland dealer and Stihl already have an Ireland distributor. I'd love to sell you a saw, but I have to play the rules.
  14. Ditto above
  15. I thought I'd have a lie in this morning, well till 8 anyway. We are normally all in at 6am, but I thought I'd have a lie in till 8 this morning, so I let one of the lads open up for me. I get a phone call at 6am to let me know the smoke cloak is going off. The nutter who will remain nameless managed to reset the alarm after entering and then walk through all the sensors. So now I'm in with every door open, fans and BR600's going trying to get the smoke out of here, and no doubt the fire brigade will be here soon. Not happy. But at least I know it works. For those that don't know what a smoke cloak is, check this out. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qX-130jedbo&NR=1&feature=endscreen]Stop Jewellery Robbery - YouTube[/ame]
  16. Hi Only the 201 now I'm afraid.
  17. As far as I know on the new ones, there is no grease point and they are fitted with sealed bearings. I would have thought it would be under warranty but would need to see it to be sure. Maybe your dealer is unaware that it has no grease points, I'm sure it's a miss understanding and it will be covered.
  18. Hi It slides over the top of the helmet. We have put them all the new Pfanner stuff on our website now. Check them out in the shiny new things tab. Shiny new things | F R Jones and Son
  19. I'd need to check in the morning for you, but I think about £45 ish
  20. Just found a link ASPIR | Petzl
  21. We can do any of the Petzl ones. Have a look at the Petzl Aspir.
  22. The warranty with all Stihl and Huskys is a worldwide warranty, no matter where you buy it from. We can supply it to you if your a pro user.
  23. Quality fish, I've just got back from 3 weeks fishing in the Everglades (Florida). We had some cracking Reds on the boat. I'll have a word with the wife and try and find some pics.
  24. Shopping at F.R.Jones and Son should save you a few bob. Seriously I think some of the overlooked things can save you money. Shopping around for your insurance, keeping your stuff locked up where only you know where it is (robbery must cost you guys a fortune). I'm about to look into getting fuel cards for the firm, you guys must use a lot more than us and I'm sure their must be a saving to be had here. Please correct me if I'm wrong, save me wasting my time.
  25. Thanks for all the comments, I think I will go with these then. Any more feedback welcome.
