  9. Agreed on 2 options, the first one yes. But not the second one in this case, as we know all the suppliers that have had these and all are still OK. There is another that is being looked at at the moment.
  10. Hi guys. I think they are genuine, but something is wrong. He has sold these and other items at under cost price. This is not the first time we have seen the likes of this on ebay in the last 2 months. Be careful, me and some manufactures are trying to work out how this is happening but ebay are being useless at helping.
  11. A few of the items are well below cos price so seems a bit weird. They are not from here, but thank you for the heads up.
  12. At the moment there is no recall on the 661, they are bringing back the 660 for a while until the 661 has been retested. There have been a select few with power issues, this is just a few so they have asked us to stop selling them until they sort it. Not even sure if it was any uk saws with the issue as we sold plenty and have had no issues with them. Hats off to Stihl this time, for having the balls to do this rather then carry on selling them until they worked out the issues. Causing a much bigger problem all round.
  13. Try tying it off to a post and give it a little pull to stretch the memory out of it.

  21. I think that a lot of members forget that the is a business for Steve. Potential customer can google something and arbtalk will come up, we don't need customers reading all the childish and silly comments. This can put customers off which can then put off the advertisers. This would be the slow decline of arbtalk and caused by some members themselves. I used to post a lot on here but have not lately as I'm not sure it's worth the hassle anymore. Remember if there's no advertisers theres no forum, would you if you were in my shoes want to pay to be a part of a forum as it is at the moment, or would you rather pay for how it was a while back. By the way I'm all up for a laugh, and those that know me can vouch for that. But there is a time and a place. This is a work related forum, and I feel it should be kept this way. You can use the members only bit for the banter, the public can't see this.
  22. It's a good one again this year, pop in and see us if your coming today. I won't be there as Im off on holidays tomorrow. But all the boys are there. You won't miss us we are the biggest marquee on the top lawn.
