  1. Glad your on the road to recovery, and back on the forum.
  2. Just a bump on this thread. We are desperate for some more sales staff. PM me if you're interested. Cheers, Justin.
  3. We get it every day on the stuff we send and the stuff we receive. This is how the drivers turn up to us no wonder their is damage.
  4. Hi If you ring we will be able to send it first class as it's light. The postage will just be the standard then. We are working on the postage issue for light items, but trust me it's not easy to implement with such a wide range of products, different weights and sizes.

  7. Not got that service available yet but I'll look into it.
  8. Once we have been running it for a couple of months, we will look at evening opening. We are next to ScrewFix so get a lot of traffic at night anyway. In the meantime, if any KNOWN customers what to come in in the evening, if they ring us and let us know they are pooping in we will give them a contact number to ring when they are outside. The night shift manager is a climbing and rigging guy (been in the arb industry for years). So if you need a personal shopper with out being disturbed book a time with him after 5 and he will have time to go through everything with you.
  9. Well the staff that are doing are happier, less stressed, and getting paid more for the same amount of hours. Win, Win, Win.
  10. Hi All Just a heads up that we are now doing a night shift. After a successful 3-week trial, we are very happy to announce that we will now be running a permanent night shift in order to process, pick and pack your orders. While the shop and phone lines are closed, our dedicated night team will respond to over-night queries (by email if they can) re-stock the showroom and warehouse, and generally prepare the shop for the following day. We are currently working with our couriers to arrange for later collection times, to allow us to process incoming orders until much later in the day. Until then, we will continue to pick and pack overnight orders as they come in, ready for collection the following day. So don't be surprised if you get a conformation email at midnight that your parcel is on it's way, as the night elves will be there picking and packing. We are talking about opening the shop later as well. What do you think? Would it be of any help if we was open until 9 or 10? Any feedback is appreciated.
  11. Hi All I'm in the middle of putting a load of clip on our website and have come across this one. [ame] [/ame]

  14. They do for account customers, have a look here on page 14, Royal Mail 24. Also it's not just the postage it's post and packing, so that would make it even more difficult to work out.
  15. VAT is chargeable on all the post we send out. Let me know where you think it's not and I'll certainly have a look at it.
  16. It's helmets and boots. Our site gives you the option of adding it or not depending on your situation, and the guidelines from HMRC. As a student they will be for personal industrial use, so you will get them without adding the VAT. Hope this helps.
  17. Thank you for putting this up. Power is still out, but they now have us running on some massive generators. So everything is as normal.
  18. I have now had the official answer from Petzl. All the new mark 2 zigzags are the new beef up version. They are not calling it the mk 3. So all the shop selling the mk 2 it is the latested upgraded version. Unless they are sitting on old stock, but they sell so well that they should all be the new version. All of our are.
  19. Well done once again Steve. This is the first year I couldn't make the chat room, had some boring meeting all night, that I couldn't move. Hope it all went without any problems. Thanks once again to Steve and all the sponsors, donators, and all those that help run this excellent raffle.
  20. Hi Ray We was using a different review company, but they have fallen out with google so we no longer get the star ratings we was. After building them up over 4 years. So I'm trying to get the reviews back up to where they were. Trustpilot have suggested we do this to try and get the old reviewers to rereview. Hope this makes sense
  21. Very good, 33 reviews so far. Keep them coming.
  22. But keep them coming guys, I need to rack them up now.
  23. Cheers all so far, keep them coming I need 30 before Google will apply them. Cheers.
  24. Hi all Please can we have some help, we have just changed our review provider as the old one doesn't work with Google any more. It looks a bit odd to have only one review from 2012. Please can you spare a minute or two and add a review. Hopefully a good one, to the below link. https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.frjonesandson.co.uk As a thank you if you remember to put the word "review" in the notes next time you order I'll throw a little something in for you.
