  2. We are considering offering a national hire service where we deliver machinery and/ or equipment to your door or place of work then collect it from you when you're done! In true Jones and Son fashion, we would offer extremely competitive rates and supply anything from brushcutters and chippers to chapter 8 kits and scaffold towers AND even welfare units! As ever, your feedback on this would be very much appreciated as this would be a massive move for us. And if you do hire on a regular or semi-regular basis, then let us know what you use and we'll make sure it's added to our fleet!
  3. Hi You will need to give the shop a ring as we don't have the details here in this office. I think it will be the same.
  4. We are only doing Stihl and Husqvarna at the moment.
  5. Yes we will be slowly adding all the older models over the next few months.
  6. Hi All We have been working hard for over a year on a new bar and chain look up. Please take a look and let me know what you all think, and if there's any errors. There's a link below and it's now available on all related areas on the website. Chainsaw bar & chain lookup tool
  7. Hi all We have now changed the website and applied the new charges. This is on a 2 month trial with the carriers to see if we get an uplift in deliveries in those areas, if not it will need to revert back. Use it or lose it.
  8. Hi Yes we are looking into the rest of europe at the moment.
  9. Thanks for the replies. For items that are under £75.00 + VAT. We can post Royal Mail for a cheaper price (depending on weight). If you know it's light, small and under £75.00 then call us and we can take the order over the phone. The website can't cope with working out size, weight etc.... (but most orders are over the £75 anyway) We will be looking into Europe & Eire in the near future.
  10. Hi All We are in the process of possibly changing our charges to the Scottish highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland. Please can you let me know if you feel this would make a difference. We are looking to drop it to a flat rate of a £10.00 surcharge across all locations.
  11. Hi All We are desperate for staff again, the company is growing quicker than I can employ at the moment. If any one knows any one that would be interested, then please direct them to our recruitment page or send me a message. Sales team member

  25. Hi At the moment there's only £18 difference between the 2. Now for some Jones OCD shite. If you have the harness 3 years and use it 3 days a week and put it on twice a day. That's 936 times. If it takes you 1 min extra to adjust and get correct the light (because of the buckles) that will be an extra 15.6 hours you could have been earning money for.
