  1. BOBFOC Body of Baywatch - Face of Crimewatch Good from afar but far from good... Both to be used when there is a case of false advertising by the pretty young lady as she is eyed from behind by the boys in the truck.
  2. Could be where i am going wrong... never done arb work in the north even though that is where the roots are. Probably a London thing... this is just a general observation, there must be some exceptions.
  3. One of the contractors for a local borough, jumped out to check the address, tree and to work out signage etc... only to turn around to see the truck, chipper, climbing kits and saws driving off down the road... bet he wished he had removed the keys, eh?
  4. Round these part there seems to be a direct correlation between the earnings of the client and the lack of tea or beverages on offer. The higher they earn the less you will be offered, especially on warm days... it seems some people are oblivious to a happy arborists needs... T
  5. finger crossed then mate...
  6. I wash them when someone complains...
  7. I know they 'supposedly' returned - but i believe that as much as i did that they landed there in the first place! The point I was trying to make is that with the potential money making opportunity and the fact the US government like to show how good they are at these things. Why haven't recent missions to the moon been carried out with a commercial purpose? IMO the reason being, there was never a landing in the first place other than in the Nevada dessert or a mocked up studio somewhere. Each to there own and everyone is entitled to their own opinion and this just happens to be mine... [ame]http://www.amazon.co.uk/Behold-Pale-Horse-Milton-Cooper/dp/0929385225/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1203274055&sr=8-1[/ame] an interesting read for all the other theorist out there.
  8. must admit i am with you on this one... if they landed there in the first place, why haven't people been back. (but then again , I am a bit of a conspiracy theorist!)
  9. Received a similar quote from Trust last week. 5m PL Ins, unlimited height and 3 metres below ground... plus a few other bits.
  10. I would always check with the local T/O - as said earlier it is only a quick call and as a result, you come across as professional and conscientious.
  11. Lee, I think I might be within your criteria. Feel free to PM me if you are in need of someone. Regarding the tickets, are 30,31,38 and 39 enough? Cheers. Rich.
  12. really enjoy the show... been for the last 3 years and will be there this year.
  13. Lived with him for about 4 months in 2003 whilst we were doing a bit of snowboarding for the season... top geezer.
  14. Glen, did you know Dan Beadell at Crawley Council? rich
  15. A couple of pics of a oak reduction. Working for a housing association, the spec was provided by the local tree officer. The original spec was 30% reduction, thin, deadwood and lift, but i think I went closer to 20 with minimum thin.
  16. did you get it to work? I am having no joy...
  17. I went to a drive in at Santa Pod (MK) during the bug bash back in '91. they were trying to get the record for the largest drivin with only VW beetles... big old screen , tuned the stereo to the frequency. Needless to say it started to slash down in true british style so I sacked it off and went to the rave on the same site and saw 'the prodigy'...
  18. Says they are called jeanette and they joined in 1970...
  19. Does anyone have any recommendation for insurance companies? I am a freelance climber, without employees, truck chippers etc, looking for PL and Personal Accident cover... I have spoken to my bank etc about Income protection cover but thought it might be worth while to ask people who have already gone down this route. Cheers, Rich
  20. Must admit i hate getting a spec sheet with ' back to previous ' i always try to do the best for the tree but prefer not to be doing it at all...
  21. Excuse me but am i missing the point... where in the pics is the MEWP being used as a crane. Have you removed the picture?
  22. Had a cocker when i was growing up - we called him timber... long time gone now though.
