  1. In fact you could post them a newer issue.
  2. I'm shocked that you nicked it, could you not have offered to replace it with a newer edition.
  3. No, thats for brash mate, not chip.
  4. Some one on your patch again Dean!!!!!!!
  5. If I thought some one could just buy a harness and compete with me I would quit now!!! I don't need others to pay for training so its all nice and fair. I feel confident that the untrained, inexperience and unskilled cannot compete with me. I share the concerns expressed by others about the thread poster safety, but I don't have any issue with him having a go from a competition point of view, because it will take him a week to do what a skilled crew can do in a day.
  6. Red is not subsidized, it just has less fuel duty on it. Is there road fuel duty on Aspen?????
  7. Very strange name, TT 20K, if it only goes to 10K
  8. Come on Tony, don't be shy, I know you have some great pic's of your work, get em posted!!!!!
  9. Yes you do they call themselves "builders" and are generally jacks of all trades and masters of none. Go on to a building site and ask for a builder, they will laugh at you, real trades men tend to specialize.
  10. I have Ruffle boiler, it very similar to a Farm 2000. Mine is 500,000 BTU, its a bit big really. I have 16 radiators in a large four bed house, which is single glazed and poorly insulated. I burn a lot of wood, but it does not need cutting up, if I can lift it it goes on, the fire box is 6ft by 4ft. Our house get a little to hot some times.
  11. Just had an arsey PM of a member who thought this I was suggesting that I was one of the original members, I was not. What I was trying to say, was that when I first found AT (it was recommended to me by a friend) I thought it had been going for years, not 5 months, as it was seemed so well established even then.
  12. Watch the first one again mate, he gets taken out by the butt end, looks real nasty to me
  13. WOW!!!!!! how the time flys. I did not really know how long AT had been going, I did not realise I had joined so soon after it had started. I has grown so fast with many people coming and going. Steve you have done a fantastic job making the site the fantastic success it has become!! Many thanks to you, the mod and all those who have contributed!!!!!
  14. A child can ask a question that even the wisest man cannot answer.
  15. Good stuff mate!! Glad to see your gear is earning its keep. Are you grinding the stumps??
  16. Dear me Dean, don't half get into some pickles!! Glad your OK.
  17. I don't wear hi-vis in the tree for the same reason.
  18. His site also says "Prices form £100 per bag", but if you go to the price list they start a £120!! Con-man in my book!!!

    VAT Rise

Be very careful, make sure you have separate equipment (including vehicle) for each business. If you don't the vat man may just say "no they are not separate businesses, so you owe us vat on all your turn over since your reached the threshold". I used to run two businesses, one commercial (vat registered) ,one domestic (none vat) I has separate kit for each one. In the end it was costing so much to have them separate I just combined them.
  21. I prefer to keep my legs slightly bent, I think locking them out put more strain on your knees.
