  1. Would being very short also be an advantage??????????
  2. I'm certain you have to replace, unless you get permission from the council not to.
  3. He is legally required to replace them and the replacements are covered by the old TPO, well thats my understanding of it.
  4. This is article I saw years ago.
  5. I was always sniffy about auto's, until we got our first disco that was auto, they are great!!! I just wish my mog was auto
  6. Only "tree snobs" hate Sycamores, they are great trees!!! Some of the big, old open grown ones are magnificent. With regard to them not being native, some guy was telling me a few years back that in fact it was possible that they are, something to do with their seed not being able to fossilize, so it does not appear in the fossil record, could this be true???
  7. People who are unfamiliar with engines can make what appear to those who are familiar as very silly mistakes, I know of two people who when checking their cars for oil, filled the engine to the top with oil, not realising there is a dipstick. I'm sure my lack of IT knowledge would probably make many laugh, its all about what you are familiar with.
  8. "Gimps":sneaky2: Not sure I would be replying to that one, my thoughts would be "drag your own brash!!!"
  9. The only cut I have had in my 17+ years in the industry was a slight graze to the back of my right hand when cutting and holding 10+ years ago, it was nothing major, requiring no treatment and I stayed in the tree. I've had no other cuts, but I don't really use a silky.
  10. I'm not sure a hand saw is better for your joints, all that pushing and shoving can't be good. As for the cuts being poor, maybe if you usually use a hand saw then your cuts will be poor with an 020. I never use a hand saw and do ALL my cuts with my 020, I find I can do good cuts Even on very small stuff. I'm not saying its a good idea, its just the way I have always worked.
  11. Belief is very often wrong, just look at all the people who believe in god None of use now how anyone else thinks, we can only guess, thinking you can will just cause stress
  12. Why do those with stress imagine every on has it????????
  13. Why were you wearing jeans:confused1:
  14. My lad starts for me when he leaves school next year. I was wondering what I should pay him???, I'm thinking probably a pittance.
  15. Are there no crane legs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. All my children's first word was "daddy".
  17. Was that mog built for chip harvesting for a power plant?? I'm sure I saw pic's of it in an article I read years ago.
  18. I'm gonna fasten some bungees from my spikes to the leg loops that should sort it.
  19. I only put weight on my middle, so gaining a few pounds would not help.
  20. I wear it below my waist, on my hips. It's when I am on my spikes or branch walking that it rides up, then when I go to sit in the harness the loops are too high and uncomfortable.
