  1. Jimmy Carr did nothing wrong, he just got a good accountant who made use of loopholes in the tax system, loopholes that the government could close if it wanted, but it knows that many of its donors use them, so it leaves them in place. Jimmys only crime was hypocrisy, he should not have slagged of the bankers when he was also playing the game himself.
  2. They look more like Klein's to me, but aren't.
  3. Where does it say they are Buckinhams????????????
  4. Do you not think a dead cat would fall out of the tree
  5. Come on lads, we all know plenty of "tree surgeons":sneaky2: Take tonight for example, went to price a "HUGE BRUT" of an ash, that 4 "tree surgeon" had declined as it was too big:001_rolleyes: Easy half day for me and my groundy
  6. Don't you have problems with the teeth bending, they seem very exposed like that. Seems much better to have the paired closer together.
  7. Really Never seen one like that.
  8. Thats easy......................keep the mog
  9. I think Stevie Blair has a CS100 for sale, PM him
  10. Those guy would not have started this thread Andy. The fact that the OP has started this thread means he needs to get this situation sorted, IMO.
  11. Thats not the problem, its that they have put a left and right together, they should be two lefts together or two rights together or a right/left and a straight together.
  12. IMO, its crazy that they have taken you on as the lead climber with so little experience.
  13. To be honest in the current economic climate I think an offer of 6 months work is pretty damn good!!! I'd be biting their hand off and if your good they will want you to stay, if they have the work.
  14. Yes, in that situation a larger chipper would make sense, the point I was making was that if your chip carrying capacity is low and you generally need to remove the chip, a large chipper is not really practical, IMO.
  15. Depends on your work, I really can't understand why any one would lug a great heavy 9" chipper when your only blowing the chip onto the back of a 3.5 tonne truck OK if you often leave chip on site a big chipper makes sense, but not if your taking chip home, straight timber takes up less room than chip and the little extra time snedding out is well worth while for the fuel and wear and tear saving, IMO.
  16. Be on time and nice and clean, theres nothing worse than waiting for people or travailing in a motor with some one who need a good wash.
  17. Those cups are nice, but I have to say I think your table is fabulous!!!!!!

    Hello

Welcome Scotty, what have you been doing for 7 years and why have you decided to get back into trees just now???
  19. Its already been felled.
  20. What if it doesn't??????
  21. Because the trees are in full vigour they are in a good position to defend against pathogen attack. Pruning only in the winter (dormant period) is a bit old hat really. I wonder if that was an idea that suited those doing the work, gardeners and councils, as in the summer they are busy cutting grass and other summer jobs, saving tree work till winter was very convenient.
