  1. The cabs are actually identical, its the chassis and axels that are bigger, meaning they won't go through an 8ft gate.
  2. This is common practice, but it is tough on chippers, also I do wonder what affect it has on the volume of "fines" in the chip?? I bet it makes a fair old difference.
  3. This has been all done before , don't believe me, I really don't mind, I won't lose any sleep honest
  4. Nope, it would be discrimination and an affront to their human rights
  5. Can't say I'm surprised, they are also the only people who can still get cash from scrap yards, as they are of no fixed abode, so can't be expected to have a bank account
  6. The haulage would have killed it any way!
  7. I use nothing, just the Zigzag and my arm/back
  8. He sounds like a right tosser:thumbdown: I've met a few over the years who have be right little Hitlers, just love throwing their weight around and trying to convince you their powers are far greater than they actually are, I tend to treat that sort like mushrooms Fortunately my local TO's are very good. Why did you give notice on dead wooding in a CA, its not required.
  9. So true, I think the long dark nights don't help, they often come when its windy, as the noise of the wind covers up their noise
  10. My mark1 did nearly 2 years without issue, my mark2 cracked within 2 weeks of getting it
  11. Ours don't, they just come back later for the cash!!, sometimes wonder if they actually cleaned them
  12. They say they have stopped the top link from cracking, my mark2 cracked months ago, still works perfectly
  13. The Zigzag is Ace!!! but I think you want the mark3 which is now out I believe.
  14. So you basically accepted what amounts to a conviction for felling 3 DEAD trees in a CA?????? WOW
  15. My two nearest LA's use a computer system that overlays the map with various things, CA, TPO and PC's all show up.
  16. They do round here. IME, pruning is not a problem, its just removal thats controlled. I've had sites where a group of trees were covered by a PC, we were ok to carry out maintenance, including some removals for safety, no paperwork required, they where just keen that the group remain.
  17. Yes you will be cautioned before interview if you chose to attend, but can they "issue" a caution in the same way as the police??? When the police issue a cause its the same as a conviction and goes on your record, as you have admitted gilt. When you are interviews by the police "under" caution its very different to be "given" a caution.
