  1. Yeah, labour are the conservatives biggest asset right now.
  2. To become a self supplier I produce purchase orders from a council.
  3. But thats a separate argument, remoaners claimed it was a ridiculous suggestion, which as its now happen, cannot be true.
  4. Except It wasn't a lie, as proved in a recent court case.
  5. Posted a link previously, CBA to do again, google is your friend, I'm not.?
  6. Why? Am I not entitled my view? Who put you in charge?
  7. NHS funding has already been increased by the amount written on the side of the bus. Obviously the media doesn’t shout about it and remoaners aren’t interested, as it doesn’t fit their narrative and proves it was never an outlandish claim. But, hey don’t let the facts get in the way of your argument.
  8. I had a mate who was a bit veggie, he had leather shoes from France, they were made from the leather of cows that where looked after well for their whole lives and then when they died of natural causes their leather was harvested. Made him feel better about wearing leather and a hell of a lot better than plastic shoes! Wonder what Hindu’s make their shoes from?
  9. Little wonder there is not much respect for the law any more. Could there have ever been trees felled where there was more evidence?
  10. Some of you lot must be dodgy buggers too be so worried.
  11. I never really worry about stuff like this. There are just so many of us, you would need to be pretty extreme to be outside the normal parameters. Maybe due to my pretty boring, sheltered life, I tend to think there will always be somewhat bigger fish to fry, than me.
  12. I think he may have been confused. When submitting a 211 notice via the planning portal there is a requirement for a sketch plan and not submitting this prevents completion. But there is no legal requirement for a plan, so long as its obvious which and where the tree/s is/are. IE if its the only tree on the property etc. You can however click "by post" which will then allow completion of the notification. You may need to ring the council and point out you are not actually posting a plan and why or they may hold things up waiting for it or I guess you could mention in the description of the work that you are not sending a plan.
  13. Neat idea, but there are no targets, so why are you lowering, just drop it ? Also, why is it being felled?
  14. IMO, thats a graft, I have a very similar one here, pretty sure there has never been a fence by mine, I'll try and remember to get a pic tomorrow.
  15. Its generally very wet around here, but the last couple of years have been very, very dry. Earlier this year I took my mog and trailer down a normal wet field, full of rushes, I don't reckon I could have done that since maybe 1976? I loaded up 3 sycamores, and drove out, my wheels were spinning a bit, bouncing of the hard ground, because its very steep, but there was no sinking in at all.
  16. I think its due to drought, its been incredibly dry for nearly 2 years. I've never known the land so dry.
  17. Hehe, rather like people kicking of about the government having access to emails etc, but same people go buy a Alexa or the like?
  18. Sadly it shows his like are very very common and may even be in the majority. Guess that explains the success of love island etc, let’s just hope global warming ends things quickly.
