  1. Sadly it shows his like are very very common and may even be in the majority. Guess that explains the success of love island etc, let’s just hope global warming ends things quickly.
  2. Really? I mean really??????? WOW!!!?
  3. The fact that no one has even attempted to assassinate Trump.
  4. Neat, but whats wrong with just having the chain hung behind the bar?
  5. Very common when buying livestock at auction or dealing with farmers in general, or at least was when I was a lad.
  6. Me too, prices have risen very little since then and at times I think they actually fell. Back then making money was easy, but there were far far less tree firms out there. 25 years ago when I first started you never saw a chipper these days often see three or mor a day.
  7. Not sure I would call it slow. I don’t think the pictures do the tree justice. It’s possible the biggest Sycamore I’ve felled. Not massively tall, but huge amount of big timber. The bottom 6ft weighed the best part of 3ton and was a good 5ft across. Each day the timber trailer was pretty full. We let the site exactly as we found it, without a divot in the lawn or a swished flower. Customer was away, but watched some of the takedown on his cctv. He texted to say he was very happy. I had allowed for 4 days, I’ve had “big timber” trees bite me on the arse before. Anyone doing that tree without a crane would have taken much longer and smashed the hell out of some of the garden, IMO.
  8. He's a "small man" with "small man" syndrome. Any one with any back bone can laugh off insults, especially if they are false. I agree the guy who milkshakes him should have been done, but if you think being punched to the floor is equivalent you're even more stupid than I thought.
  9. Please produce some actual evidence of this.
  10. He is scum, plain and simple. Just google his rap sheet and you can bet the stuff he's been caught for is just the tip of the iceberg. Tommy Robinson's sucker-punch victim reveals what sparked shocking attack - Mirror Online WWW.MIRROR.CO.UK EXCLUSIVE - The charity worker, 35, was struck in the head by English Defence League founder Robinson, 36, and it...
  11. Mark, the big Sycamore in my pic's took 3 steady days for me and my son. He had busy mornings on the first two days chipping awful smashed up brash (tree was 90% dead) and chucking logs into the trailer, then very easy afternoons just taking strops of the big timber after I had craned it into the trailer. The final day was very easy for him, just taking off strops and the blowing the drive. An extra man would have had nothing to do much of the time.
  12. I use my hiab on the big stuff, usually.
  13. Up here if I got £1200+VAT for that, I'd be happy. Unless I've been fooled by the pic's.
  14. They weren't soft back then, its the ease of production on their good ground thats made em lazy ?
  15. I process the the brash up the tree, my lad only has to chip the bash or put timber in a stack or on the trailer. I'll occasionally drop a lump he needs to cut up, but not often. I've not used a lower rope in years.
  16. Maybe you just worked with the wrong guys........... I bet they were Southerners ?
  17. I only ever have one goundsman.
  18. Hell fire! I'm far too cheap! PS, I would not rig any of that.
  19. We know nothing of the circumstances, so why even go there?
  20. If you don't do your own work why do you have insurance?
  21. He's an arse, deserves all he gets, IMO. Showed his true colours when he sucker punched some kid and it was caught on tape. Lets hope his cell mate is Bubba ?
  22. I don't know how Canadian citizenship works. Is he actually a Canadian citizen? I don't know? Is he planning or trying to come to the UK? The hypocrisy appears obvious, but I don't know all the facts.
