  1. In 20 years I've never had that problem, guess I'm just lucky Think of all the hours of typing and stamps I've saved
  2. Verbal quotes cannot be tapered with
  3. Sounds like you have mostly fixed the engine, rather than the chipper, I'm not sure anyone will be that interested in the engine.
  4. Hinge?? There wasn't even a gob
  5. I think part of this is cultural, I believe the Chinese have no word for cobbler, they did not repair shoes and clothes, they have always replaced rather than repair, this has also been their way as they have taken over the production of motor cycles, cars, etc, etc.
  6. Wish I'd kept mine, although my mk2 has been cracked for months and is showing no signs of the crack opening up at all.
  7. I believe one large house locally has 14 green bins, but its a big house so £700 per year may not be an issue.
  8. Just build a box (pallets work well) keep heaping it up, IME the pile soon sinks, by the start of each season last years cutting have virtually disappeared. Better still cut weekly with mulching deck.
  9. Did you scrap them???
  10. This really is not true, I would wager that at least 80% of all the Timber wolf and Entec chippers ever built are still in use, some will be 20 years old.
  11. My understanding is its £50, any one too stupid to compost their grass clipping deserves an idiot tax, IMO
  12. What brilliant news!!!! Really pleased for you, that sinking felling you get when you realise something has be stollen is just awful
  13. Spot on!!!!!
  14. IMO, people are either sensible and safety conscious or not, I don't think bits of paper can really change that. Its simply not possible to instruct people in every aspect of what we do, you need to be able to think things through and act safely. I have seen pictures on here of large companies with all the paper work in the world, but still do what I feel a crazy things. One example is craning timber off stems using a grab or clamshell to grip the log. Why not use a sling???????
  15. The most dangerous thing we do each day is drive to site, yet the is no RA or MS required. Its all about ass covering and sad little people who only feel good if they can push others around.
  16. I think you may need to read your own posts, yours are the only negative posts, which are all hearsay.
  17. Have you???
  18. That far too short:001_rolleyes: mine is way longer than that. I think you are confusing a "phone number" with a "Company number", they are very different One is issued by BT, the other is from Companies House I'm guessing your not Limited
  19. Whats their Company number???
  20. Thats the great thing about the UK, the weather may not always be great, but its seldom dangerous.
  21. So why don't they all bend???
  22. Its common sense when you think about, if you copy a product why are people going to by the copy rather than the original?? The only way is to reduce its price, how can you reduce the price?? Simply use cheaper components. IME you get what you pay for. Personally I really dislike copies, I try not to buy them, just fells wrong to me.
