  1. Just need Ed Balls to lose his seat now!! The suspense is killing me!!!
  2. Looking like sense has prevailed, very relieved!!
  3. Yes, they remain in the hollow, you leave the section on the ground with the entrance clear. At dusk they will exist and as its no longer standing they will not return to it.
  4. Thats a pretty offensive generalisation
  5. Normally means lowering the hollow section or sections, IME.
  6. 90% of arb work is removing healthy trees, get used to it or change jobs would be my advice
  7. I had a English driver deliver a 35' fridge body, he was awesome!!, a mate of mine was at the yard shifting top soil, he was blown away by his driving ability and helpful attitude
  8. I would sooner employ them than those with your attitude Our problems are not caused simply by numbers, its the idle British that are the biggest drain, IMO.
  9. £320 for 2 men and gear?????????:confused1: Are you guys the ones we keep hearing about who are using the food banks??????
  10. Here!here!! Totally agree, its often the elderly or timid types who get bullied in this way. I have taken great delight in standing up to these type of bully's on several occasions, they really don't like it when people stand their ground and point out what the law states. I've had the police called on a couple of occasions, on both occasions they agreed with me and the nasty neighbour disappeared once the police had pointed out we were well with our rights. I guess its easier to just not get involved, let the little people suffer in silence and the bully's win
  11. In 20 years I've never had that problem, guess I'm just lucky Think of all the hours of typing and stamps I've saved
  12. Verbal quotes cannot be tapered with
  13. Sounds like you have mostly fixed the engine, rather than the chipper, I'm not sure anyone will be that interested in the engine.
  14. Hinge?? There wasn't even a gob
  15. I think part of this is cultural, I believe the Chinese have no word for cobbler, they did not repair shoes and clothes, they have always replaced rather than repair, this has also been their way as they have taken over the production of motor cycles, cars, etc, etc.
  16. Wish I'd kept mine, although my mk2 has been cracked for months and is showing no signs of the crack opening up at all.
  17. I believe one large house locally has 14 green bins, but its a big house so £700 per year may not be an issue.
  18. Just build a box (pallets work well) keep heaping it up, IME the pile soon sinks, by the start of each season last years cutting have virtually disappeared. Better still cut weekly with mulching deck.
