  5. How the hell his son puts up with him ill never know, id have leatherd him a long time ago. He does make me laugh with how aggressive he is somtimes though. Have you seen the work he produces when hes milled them logs?? That blue streak threw the wood is amazing, Ive never seen timber look like that before
  6. A chap i worked for in the past, A good few years ago just used to use house hold bleach, it honestly worked a treat, Re visited a few gardens over the 3 years i worked for him and it killed the stump off no worries, Demestos is cheap these days too
  7. Have you seen some of the other vids on youtube??, That graham mcmahon chap climbs some seriously massive trees, theres one that he tops out and the movement of thing made me feel queasy just watching it :thumbup:

  13. You save a load of branches, Lay them out where you are going to be throwing the logs, The logs then land on the branches, They act as a cushion so's not to make any marks on grass lawns or driveways It works suprisingly VERY well

  16. Watch Regs (RCO) latest video mate, it will give you some good insight into rigging down stems, I think its called rigging a spar

I know what you mean, If someone where to price a job at £1000, did the job and got paid £1000, Then a few other firms said it was a rip off and they would have only charged £300 that to me doesnt make the first firm a rip off. As you said though, if the firm bullys and old dear into paying big money OR goes into a job thinking "haha ill have these over here" then that is wrong

  22. "I" was the lowering device........"Can you hold that" "Errrrrrrr, yeah i think so" all on blue poly prop rope, Still got the scars on my hands and ended up more than a few feet up a tree before now!! To be honest id rather have it old skool, i enjoyed it much more

  24. The bow saw one brings back some good memorys, I started only ten years ago but the old skool chap i worked for didnt let the climbers use 020's "cause too many injurys them things" was his view, Bow saws and 026's up a tree were his preference
