  10. You dont really have a choice mate, If he soley works for you full time hours, Using your gear, You have to take him on, I know its been a grey area for years but its they are really clamping down it, If you try and blag it pal, you could find yourself in alot of trouble, A guy i used to work for years ago is getting hammerd for this now, I was cards in with him but He had S/E people work for him full time for years and its now (years later) he's getting his pants pulled down for it big time!!
  11. Some very good points very well put there Paul, Cracking post
  12. Regardless of what i earn, If someone rings up asking me to beat £50 over the phone, Im already smelling a rat, They want it extremely cheap and will probably be the type of person to want alot more off you once your there! Plus i agree with Skyhuck, If ever just dropped a decent size tree, I couldnt just do 3 cuts and leave it, Id want to leave it safe, which in turn would mean spending a little bit of time snedding it up, so it didnt roll on whoever was clearing it up There are many reasons why i didnt even go and look at the tree, Plus im very busy at the monent and im making a good name for myself, All the people who want something for nothing, Can ring Bodgit and scarper, with no insurance and pay them peanuts!!
  13. Then id want alot more than £50 still, Id want more than that for straight felling a tree!!!
