  1. I was taught to leave pegs while I was at college so I had a handle to throw it by and, as I've got the smallest feet in the world (it's a wonder I don't fall over), it gives me somewhere to stand. Mind you, being lacking in the 'nads' department, that's never been an issue for me... Nice tidy job, by the by...
  2. It's a great idea. We've touched on this subject in previous threads. Surely there's gotta be some sort of continuation to guide people from training into the work place. Hope it takes off...
  3. Impressive. Nice shots.
  4. Sounds good as long as you make it clear that the offer is only valid on work carried out over a specific period. Good luck with that...
  5. Gorgeous shots!! The kinda day makes you glad to be alive!
  6. Might be an idea. 13th is all I have free til then...
  7. Will you pay expenses? I'm a Yorkshire lass too. My Dad lives in Tadcaster!! Like I say... Bugger!
  8. Bugger, exactly what i'm looking for.... but I'm in Somerset
  9. Nice shots. Who'd have thought there'd be anything that lovely near Kidder. No offence, but it's not the nicest place in the world- my brother lives there. Nice forest tho :-)
  10. Anyone else a member? I think it's great, especially if you have kids. They send them an email every week with activities and tasks to complete. Keeps mine busy for hours! And she's learning at the same time. Your donation goes towards managing ancient woodland and to planting new trees- you even get a tree dedicated to you and they send you its co-ordinates. Not trying to sell it, just think they're doing a great job!
  11. Respect!!!
  12. How about Taunton?!!! (just out of lazyness....hehe) Dec 13th would be good for me, but I realise this may clash for some with the Kew trip. Not sure about location... where's central for most? If people post some thoughts perhaps we can sort something out before it gets too late
  13. Your avatar upsets me...

  14. Left a message in the group, but in case you guys don't see it... Anyone up for a xmas port n lemon?
  15. I totally agree that if it's not 'waste' you shouldn't have to pay. I do a lot of landscaping and have a fair bit of green 'waste'. What with no yard to compost it myself, I take it to the local tip. Yes, I have the dreaded license, but what makes me laugh is, they then compost it all and sell it on, making more money out of everyone's waste. Surely they could give the compost away free to anyone with a license as they've contributed to making it. And what's more, if most new businesses fail in their first year, why make people buy a license for 3 years?
  16. Is it wrong that this one made me laugh more than any other!!!?
  17. Hey. How's Josh now? Hope he's recovered

  18. Hmmm... Nah. Still lost. Seems like a lot of fuss about not much
  19. I don't understand the 'celebrity status' bit. I'm assuming it's because of the impact on their natural habitat if hundreds of tree 'fans' show up looking for them, yes? These trees have been photographed since the dawn of the camera. Surely he's being... silly. If I've misunderstood please tell me...
  20. Is that anything like hand 'gestures'?
  21. Have you guys not checked the date on the original post? I think it's done and dusted now...
  22. You're not having much luck, eh james, mate? Hope things on the purchasing front at least turn around for you soon!
  23. Genius, indeed. I've seen the great man many times. Unbeatable! One of my favourite lines... "...and I don't get along with myself. And I'm not too keen on anyone else."
  24. :scared1:If I was his mother his backside would be red raw, I don't care how old he is! Little sod!!! "Get to bed!!"
  25. So glad he's feeling better. I hope you didn't take him to McDonalds 1000 times!!
