  1. I've only been working with saws for the last year. It goes back about 3 or 4 years. Working with strimmers/brushcutters/hedge trimmers, but not sure if that's what causes CTS or whether it's just something that can develope due to poor circulation, which I have. Any ideas?
  2. I'm upset that "Steve Bullman has not made any friends yet"!! Can I befriend you? Ha Ha!!

  3. Wow! You made that look incredibly easy. I'm in awe.
  4. Wow! Stuff like that never fails to impress
  5. A good check for CTS that my doctor showed me is to hold your hand out flat, palm down, and push your fingers back as far as you can. If your fingers then start to go numb starting with the little finger in order, it's a good chance that's what it is. I've had it for a while. Only seems to affect me in autumn and winter. Keeps me awake at night and can be pretty painful.
  6. Ha Ha Ha!!! Nice work. You've got too much time on your hands, love!!
  7. That alone isn't a reason to fell a tree. There are a great many hollow trees out there that are deemed healthy enough to stay put. I'd like to think this forum was also a learning tool for people like myself that are trying to educate themselves, without fear of ridicule from some smart-arse.
  8. Thanks. I realise it was decayed but I know that alone isn't a reason to take a tree down. Thanks for taking the time to explain the location, etc
  9. Nice work. Why did it have to come down?
  10. Just out of interest, what would you do with that? Prune out one or the other or just leave it be?
  11. Takes a lot of guts to turn your life around like that. I take my hat off to you.
  12. How very charming. You're obviously far better at "handbags" than me. Well done you.
  13. That was quite a little rant! I love a fiesty man. How sweet to get so worked up. Bless...

    long weekend

Wow!! snowboarding in the a.m. beach in the p.m. That's so cool!!! Sounds like you have a perfect lifestyle, my friend!
  15. Bugger, shot with my own arrow!! Nothing sexy about rough hands on a GIRL, I guess. That must be where I'm going wrong...
  16. Not in a healthy relationship then, JJG? Or do you just not bother asking the lady what she likes? I think most women would prefer rough hands on a man... much more masculine. Nothing sexy about men with soft hands, believe me! In fact, it's a bit creepy! Maybe that's just my oppinion...
  17. I'm a girl (last time I looked) and I don't use gloves
  18. IMO colleges do mislead as to what your abilities are when you finish the course. As I've said on other links, I know guys who qualified the same time as me and have set up on their own immediately. No experience, just a handful af tickets. That's not the service I'd want to be offering. I'm not even sure if doing a full-time course has much of an advantage against just doing the NPTC's, unless you wanna go on down the acedemic/consultancy route eventually, in which case it's a good starting point. Just my oppinion...
  19. Nice chopper!!
  20. Right to trust your instincts. Good chioce
  21. Guess that was a "no" to the question then.
  22. It's all gone a bit Julian Clary. Nice.
  23. Fair enough. Sounds like you've had a few bad experiences. Plus, I've personally yet to find a company that wants to pay that mythical 'decent wage'...
  24. I reckon this is the best idea. Annoying that you have to go to that sort of trouble to avoid stupid people though...Guess that's the world we live in
