    I’ve used this oil ( SynthPlus ) before for my stihl 150 , the stuff is like water and it clogged the clutch like water does as well. The oiling on the 150 is pita , when tanking with chain oil i usually add Aspen to thin it down.

    It must be twenty years since i cut this piece. Hornbeam from Villa Lemm Gatow. As you can see it didn’t split , mind you it was a diagonal cut.

    maybe next time dry the wood first and then cut the slices. covering both sides with wax and letting them dry from the bark side might help.

    Outreach is important especially when felling , nothing worse having the vehicle directly under the drop zone. I don't like spiderlifts but they do have their advantages.

    I'm trying to make a dead eye sling using tenex tec 19 mm. I've buried the tail a fid's length back into the rope. Should i use whipping. Thanks for any help
