  4. I’ve been lucky, just small ones. I’ve known people whose never had any.
  5. One hand on the chainsaw the other on a stub , after cutting a branch a hang up one fell onto my index finger splitting the tip open.
  6. I’m lying here and thinking what went wrong . I’ve got a finger injury again , maybe my fifth accident in 30 years of tree work. I seem to lose my concentration thinking of the next job or appointment. Stay safe guys. Keep focused on the job in hand.

  8. i would say the biggest let down of the cs100 is always having sharp blades . having to change them so often.
  9. the blades on a cs100 have to be sharp otherwise it's pita.
  10. maybe i should try a clove hitch , but i normily use a overhand knot on a bight. for some reason the marlin spike knot is for me unsafe
  11. this happened yesterday. my left index was on the corner of a stub a branch came down on top and the finger was split. the surgeon told me i should be wearing gloves. here's hoping theres no infection.

  16. Buy a big shot ( the head part is all you need ) makes life a lot easier. You can use thicker , stiffer line . ( the cheap stuff ).
