  10. I was up near Flash yesterday it wasnt nice weather to be out and about it, it was sleety rain coming down in the afternoon,

  12. national garden center chains are giving away free trees as part of the BBC world record attempt for most trees planted in an hour, so i picked up my free hazel today, and if i go every day between now and next saturday i will be well on the way to my new front hedge!
  13. i have a small thermos and its great, trick is to take milk seperatly or not at all! as it will stay a lot warmer longer, or buy a jetboil!

  15. just had a quick look and there arent any in the 084 manual, dont you have to have the saws independantly tested as the published HAVS figures are for new saws on low vib chains,

  17. sent you guys a PM, if you need one quickly or only occasionally, John at Uttoxeter GM has a 5" hire one, think its about £80/day or Natural England have a TW35/150 at Bakewell, which last time i was offered it was £8/hr
  18. The smaller stump in pic2 onwards in post 10, is that bat habitat creation? or for inverts, as it would strike me as being a little bit too low for bats

  21. the foragers on willow are in small and descrete ways modified, i have a mate who is aftersales for New holland, previously being a field technical specialist, and had quite a bit to do with the biomass foragers, i think in many cases the hydrulic pumps are upgraded to heavier duty units than fitted to the standard machine I think the best one i have seen is Copppice resource limiteds forager with the huge two circular saws on big hydro motors out front, that was a scarey bit of kit
